J&B Painting did a great job for me on the outside of my house. The owner, Bob, is straightforward and honest. Their pricing is competitive. The work crew is detail-oriented and very proficient. The final result was excellent. I highly recommend them.

Bob McCrone and his 4 man crew were so outstanding in both the quality of their work, their positive attitude, and their responsiveness, that I am at a loss for words and almost don't know where to begin. The paint job, done during a hot week this past July (2019), is first rate. Every line between white trim and darker siding is clean and neat with no drips or smudges anywhere. Any request was met with a can-do attitude, even near the end of a hot day. Bob also gives value-added service in pointing out and doing extra work that I wasn't expecting my painter to do. Using pressure washing and sanding, they transformed my deck. Bob checked with me constantly if I was satisfied with how the work was going. It was stunning to me to encounter a contractor like Bob who demonstrated daily how much he cares about the customer and wants to make sure he is doing the highest quality work. Bob is such pleasure to deal with that I looked forward to his arrival at 8 A.M. each day. I realize such high praise might be suspect, To support the truth and accuracy of this review, I would be happy to personally recommend J&B Painting to any "serious" prospective customer. Bottom line: Bob and his crew made getting my house painted a pleasure for my wife and me, and we are in love with how the property looks.

Superb!!! Bob is so nice, helpful, kind and smart. He was recommend on Angieslist. The people who worked was wonderful and timely. 33 window it's a very high house with screen in patio. They wash everything even my patio furniture. So gracious, and very efficient. People in the neighborhood look and watch.

Bob and the team we’re extremely prompt and professional. They did a really great job repairing the walls that were opened for electrical work. They took care and detail in all the rooms and did not finish until we were completely satisfied. Would definitely recommend and use again.

One of my best services experiences ever. The work was amazing and well priced (I received multiple quotes). Bob was VERY responsive to phone calls and text messages. He would provide me a daily progress update. We also increased the scope of the job (adding a shed and shutters) and Bob/his team never missed a beat. I would HIGHLY recommend J&B Painting for your painting needs.

Job went fine. Quick response to phone calls. Bob is a perfectionist! Made my poor walls look almost new. Came back for a few minor repairs/touch-ups - no problem. Would definitely use again & would definitely recommend!

We needed to have the interior trim throughout our house painted. Some was bare wood, such as door jams and carpentry for fireplace mantel. Bob walked the house with us and captured the needed work in detail and provided a quote based upon our input and his inspection. Him and his team arrived promptly and completed the work in a professional manner protecting the surroundings and left the area clean. All areas were prepped and primed, then painted. Upon completion Bob walked us through the house examining and noting any areas we found to be addressed of which there were none. He indicated that if we found anything after they left we could call him. Note that this was repeat business as we had him paint the exterior of our house in the summer with which we were were very satisfied.

I call Bob on 4-3-18 to get an estimate on painting my living room, dining room and hall way. He came same day at 3:30. We reviewed what had to be done and he told me he could his guys here Thursday and Friday. He also stated he supplies the paint for the project and only uses Benjamin Moore. I pointed out the 3 settlement cracks that needed to be fix and he stated that would not be a problem. He made me feel comfortable I called him an hour later and booked the job. The guys showed up 8:00 Thursday morning Bob went over everything that needed to be done. They prep the walls and the settlement cracks and started to paint. Bob told me the walls and ceiling get 2 coats of paint. They covered everything with drop clothes and at the end of the day cleaned up and vacuumed and stored the stuff for the next day. Friday they came and did the painting readdressed the settlement cracks, and gave the ceiling and extra coat of paint. Bob stops by the see how everything is progressing and if the guys need anything. When they where finished I was so happy with the job. The workers where very neat and clean. I would recommend this company very highly I would hire them again. Thanks Bob and workers my house looks great!

This was the second major job for which we have used J & B, and we were very happy both times. We did not bother getting a second estimate for this job as we knew from the last work that his price would be fair and in line with other estimates. Bob couldn’t have been nicer to deal with, and he was very tolerant of our slow decisions and change of mind on color. The day before the work began I asked if he could add another room to the project and he arranged to do that. They also did a small repair and repaint job for no additional charge. His crew is professional, courteous, does nice work, and always arrived at the agreed time. I’ll be happy to cal J & B for my next painting project.

Finshed walls and ceilings were perfect. The crew was prompt, courteous, and professional and accommodated my daily schedule.. They took down all drapery and hardware, vent covers. etc before beginning to paint. Chanderlier and electric stairstepper chairs were wrapped. Doorways were draped and sealed before sanding began.Anything taken down or wrapped was restored or reset when the job was completed. Owner visited worksite each day. Large heavy furniture pieces were returned to my selected locations.

Excellent. Bob (owner) came to give me an estimate (which was quite fair, considering the amount of work to be done.) Bob also helped me select colors!! On day of job, Bob arrived with his crew of 3 workers. After down payment was made, Bob went out to purchase needed supplies, while workers stay behind to begin the project. These 3 workers are amazing. They work non-stop, taking just a brief lunch break. Although removing wallpaper can be a challenge, they did it expertly and efficiently. The paint job on all three rooms is very professional. They did an outstanding. job. Bob, the owner, stopped by several times each day to assess the progress and quality. This was a 4-day project....and this team of workers put in long days. First day was wallpaper removal. Second day was spackling and repairing. Third day was sanding....and painting. Fourth day was continuation and completion of painting. I am beyond impressed with J&B Painting ( I got the referral from a friend, who had recently had them for a job at her house). In turn, my neighbor hired them after seeing the worth ethic of this team....and the end result!

Bob and his team were always on time and very professional . He quoted me a very fair price, and was able to accommodate us in a very short time. Both of our bedrooms were previously painted, mirrors glued to the wall from the previous owner and the walls needed a lot of work, they got the bedrooms done in 2 days with multiple coats, spackling and sanding, walls, ceiling and trim. Bob reviewed with us on a daily basis of the job status. He would also tell us what supplies we needed, or discussed with us what we needed and he would pick it up. He also followed up with me by phone at the end of the day to ask if everything was OK, or brief me of what transpired if I could not be there personally. The team went room by room so we had access to our rooms usually by end of day, each day. We were able to point out touch up areas throughout the job, and they took care of it right away. They also did our whole foundation in about 5 hours, including our railing. We are very pleased with Bob and his team and will hire them again as well as recommend them for any paint job!

The team went room by room so we had access to our rooms usually by end of day if not next day. We were able to point out touchup areas throughout the job. We hired Bob for painting our 3 car garage. The garage was unfinished with bare sheet rock. He was the only painter who understood our vision for the garage. Not just painting the garage, but making it as good as inside of the house. We are very satisfied with the work that he did for us. The walls and ceiling were speckled, sanded, primed and painted multiple coats. We called him back for some touch ups. He came back and did what we asked him to do without any issues even though we had already paid him in full. He definitely stands behind his work.
