"I needed to have a mold issue addressed in my condo which had developed due to a leak in the roof. I contacted Aerotek Environmental having received their contact details from Angi Ads. From my first contact with Brandon of Aerotek Environmental he was the most helpful of all that I had spoken to about my issue. In addition to giving a reasonable cost estimate, Brandon took the time to carefully explain the step by step remediation process that his company would provide which included digital photos before, during and on completion of work. Having decided to use Aerotech the process ran very smoothly from setting the schedule date through the actual work and payment for services. Communication with Brandon was excellent - If I called or sent a text Brandon would either promptly answer or respond in a very short time. On the scheduled day, Felix Castro (job foreman) and his team arrived on time. Felix explained in detail exactly what he and his team would be doing. On completion of the work, Felix ensured that all debris was removed and provided full details as to what had been done and what he and his team found to be the most likely area of the leak. I am very satisfied with the entire process of working with Brandon who along with Felix and his team provided excellent customer service and would not hesitate to call in again should the need arise. When you have mold, making the correct decisions right away is critical. Whether it is mold in your home, school, place of work, or apartment there are many factors to consider. Are you going to be involved in a mold lawsuit? Will you be seeking property damages? Is anyone sick from mold exposure? Will you be seeking medical damages? Will you need expert witnesses? If so, what kind? Do you just want to test to be sure your environment is safe? Do you need post mold remediation testing to ensure a good job was done? These and other factors are questions which need to be answered before any environmental testing starts. It is important to know what your goals are and why your testing. Different goals require different environmental tests, i.e. medical damages and property damages require different environmental tests to prove your case in court. Tests that a common, or inexperienced, mold inspector would not typically use or know to use.

My pulmonologist also looked at the test results & said the mold levels did not seem too bad. Also, the humidity readings on my house thermostat did not read the high level that the report stated. So, I do not know if there was any value with the service & I am not sure if I would recommend them. The only way to really find out would be to call in another testing company but I did not want to spend another $660. So, I had the remediation work done for $1900 & was satisfied."

Arrangements for the project were made, with some one named Lynn, for the company to send someone to complete the work. We were quoted over the phone 4500-5000 which included a mold test. A sub contractor with an entirely different company (National Mold Company) was sent. When the contractor arrived, he stated that the job would be much more simpler than first thought. This led us to believe that the job would cost less, no. All said and done, they charged $5500. All said and done, it's almost like no work was done. The stains and the smell are still there. Only one actual board was taken upon the attic room. The ceiling in the bedroom was primed and painted but are still visible and have a funky smell. At this point I'm going to. Do what we should have done; Do the job ourselves. Just now with $5500 less dollars in our pockets. A detailed receipt was not given even though it was requested."
