"the servicemen were polite, punctual and efficient.  Upon inspection of my chimney, the technician noticed that my furnace was directly vented to my chimney stack.  This is a problem as carbon monoxide could enter my living room due to a chimney downdraft.
The technician explained the safety hazard thoroughly and said it could be remedied by inserting a separate stainless steel flue in my chimney that connected to the furnace exhaust...keeping fireplace exhaust separate from the furnace exhaust and eliminating the possibility of carbon monoxide migration back into my living room.
The work was down within a few days of the initial inspection.  The technicians were neat, fast and efficient.
