"Ever since Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric replaced a 5-year-old furnace that had been improperly installed by another contractor, we have relied on this North Jersey HVAC contractor for all our heating & cooling maintenance needs. Not only is the team responsive, polite, and professional, they have a great understanding of the latest HVAC technology and always recommend the best equipment. I recently had the company replace my downstairs HVAC system under the Carrier Cool Cash and PSEG Instant Rebates programs. The work was done efficiently, cleanly, and I am enjoying greater energy efficiency in my home. Next year I will have them replace my upstairs system under the same program. "Worst service I’ve ever have experienced. They wanted to sell me the product, never told me that there was an early termination fee and another penalty for an initial offer they gave me. Had double charges every month, once for the oil they provided (which they never told me they were going to provide before coming. They just came without my knowledge and then I find a high amount bill) and another for an “automatic payment” for 500 that they never could explain. The didn’t even fix this issue and it kept happening every month even after I cancelled the service. Then having to call them is a hastié for the refund of the 500. Stay away of this company"

"First of all I wanna mention that my experience is similar to many people who have been serviced by j&s as it appears in their Yelp reviews. I had a working furnace that was tripping because of limited airflow, they practically forced me to change the furnace. Which, cost me $4000 and took over 2 weeks. Then the new one had a defective gas valve. Then the furnace kept tripping and stopped working even after changing the valve. I had to reopen the work order for the 3rd time. When they came they found out about the limited airflow from the dirty coil. They said they'll talk with AHS and get back to me, but what they did is they closed the request as completed. I had to call again to reopen the request. When they showed, up they tried to talk me into downgrading my filter. It was too late when I realized that the real issue was a dirty coil and/or duckt work not the furnace. Lastly, they sneakily updated the request to have a non covered item ($200 to change the air filter) this way,"
