The quality of his workmanship failed to meet the level of performance and expectations established by the industry standards. I suspected it and then decided to bring an expert (accredited BOSCH contractor) who independently provided with a Report of quality of the work done by Mr. Kupchick's team. An other contractor who came to estimate the repairs for damages caused by his workers, confirmed the violations of code and a wrong size equipment, improper installation and a multiple damages, including the electrical wires which were left exposed in the utility room. This contractor left us with two water leaks after installation, damaged wood floor, with no working equipment due to the described above, and so many other damages, as well with the health issues due to the bad air quality after the water leaks. A multiple pictures and correspondence were attached to the Complaint with Hartford Ct DCP, as well the CT Legal Services was notified about this contractor. Moreover, the Westport Ct gov. Attorney is trying to return the $2000 granted to me as to a retired Senior and paid to him on my behalf. The contract with Mr. Kupchik was cancelled due to improper performance, and the Building inspector instructed to return these funds, but he stubbornly refused to do so. I could share more information, but the space is limited. Please never hire this contractor and check all his the "5 stars" reviews, if they are real. I did not do so, just simply believed, and now we are in a very difficult situation, including the costs for repairs.

The Oil to Natural Gas Conversion Project was performed ON TIME and with very professional results. He is a perfectionist and his work and reputation clearly show that. Everything was performed at or above my expectations. Basement was very clean during and work and after the project was completed.A GREAT EXPERIENCE. especially when having to remove an old oil boiler and oil tank.

Peter Kupchick came with a very high recommendation from a local supply house and he did not disappoint. Peter removed my old oil fired boiler and replaced it with a 96% high efficiency WM 97+ gas fired boiler with a fire tube heat exchanger which was recommended for my house which was built in 1914. My house has radiators except for the kitchen which has a baseboard, which made for a very cold kitchen. Peter removed the existing baseboard and installed a cast iron high output baseboard. To show you how much integrity this company has, I called Peter and told him my kitchen was better, but still not comfortably warm, At no expense to us, he came over and installed a circulator on the kitchen loop and connected it to the main thermostat (free of charge) so it would not cause the boiler to rapidly cycle on and off, as micro zones cause. Peter said connecting the new circulator to the existing thermostat will prevent it from becoming a micro zone and preserve the life of the boiler. The solution worked perfectly, I now have a toasty warm kitchen and spending about 1/3 on fuel as I was before. 
Peter Kupcheck has the type of integrity that you used to find years ago, but rarely come across these days. Peter immediately demonstrated his professionalism and integrity the first time he came over to give me a price. Every other company gave me a price according to the BTU's of my existing boiler. Peter took the time to give me a price by first measuring the size of my house and many radiators. (I was happily surprised when he did this). When he gave me a proposal, his price was reasonable, fair and competitive. Peter was always punctual during installation, and always left the area neat and clean. It is truly a pleasure to do business with a company and professional such as Peter Kupchick.
He is very knowledgeable, professional, honest, and responsible for all his work. Integrity such as this is hard to find these days, and it is what sets Peter apart from other HVAC companies. By the way, 20 years ago, I was a HVAC technician before getting into the Medical field and I know  honesty, integrity, and professionalism when I see it. 

I cannot recommend them enough. They were reasonable, professional and continue to be very responsive. I have had to call them a few times with minor follow ups and they've been out immediately and solved the problem. Great work and just a pleasure to work with!

Peter presented lots of options for our project and explained the difference in cost and efficiencies. He was very patient and thorough in answering all of our questions, and we had a lot of questions. Peter was on-site every day of the project. He and his staff showed up on time and did their best to be unobtrusive - which was an achievement since he had to be in every room of the house at some point. He cleaned up, both inside and outside. We are extremely pleased with the system he installed.
