Sippin has been my oil company for 37 years and has also serviced my AC. They've always been reliable, including getting my heat back on in the middle of the night. They just finished the installation, and it was done extremely neatly (better than the system that was installed when the house was built) with an eye toward easier maintenance in the future. They spent enough time to do it right, including making sure it was properly topped off with refrigerant. They will handle the warranty paperwork and gave me a one year installation warranty, over and above the manufacturers warranty.

Great. The came the same day and did the work the next day. They didn't try to sell me anything more than what I needed. I have used them for years. Very trustworthy.

I have oil them for 25 years for everything. They came out to clean my air conditioner. Then I had trouble with it. They came back. Even though it was 2 days over the month period, they did not charge me a comeback service. Because that guy had made a mistake. I have had them for 25 years, I knew they would take care of it. They will be back to clean my furnace. I get my oil from them. I get everything from them. They usually come at the end of a season. I have a service contract from them. They have always been there for me when I need it. When I need them, I call them and they come. I don't think they are anymore than people in the area.

Did a great job. On time.Good price with warranty.

I went to town hall, paid the judgement, got it released, and to this day Sippin has refused to provide a copy of the release to the credit report companies so my credit it ruined. I have to explain the situation and how Sippin is full of incompetent unreasonable staff who are insensitive to the pain they cause customers by affecting their credit - even after they have been paid in full for an expense that should have been reversed.

We just bought the house and know nothing about oil heat. They took the time to educate me about the system. They respond quickly, within a couple of hours, when the system stops heating the house, which is about every two weeks. They have replaced two components. Labor and parts were covered by our contract. If they have to enter the house they wear shoe covers and are very polite and professional. They take what could be a horrible situation and make it not so bad because they are so reliable.

Successful. We got heat.

Sippin delivered oil in a special truck equiped for deep snow and ice. The Town of Bethel had pushed a high wall of slush into the driveway entrance and it froze over night. The mountain of ice could not be removed with rock salt, picks and the snow plow refused to attempt to use the blade on the ice. Sippin could not get in with the regular truck. They called and told me the driver did not feel he could deliver oil to us but they would provide a special truck to make the delivery. I pictured a half track but the delivery truck that came to the house was just as effective. We got our oil delivery and we were grateful.

Sippin is the most accomodating oil company I have ever dealt with.

They come and fill our oil tank. If we have any problems, they always are responded very quickly.

Service is ok but I want more bang for my buck

I guess I spoke to the head of sales there. He introduced the company to me and gave me a good quote on a rate. I had called up some other places, and the prices were definitely higher. He transferred me to another employee who helped me sign up. I’ve just bought my house in Bridgeport. They’ve not brought me any fuel so far. They asked me to call up anytime this week. I am going to get it all set up, probably this Thursday. They seem very knowledgeable and are quick to help. I did call and leave a voice note, and they returned my call within half an hour.

The installation job this company did was great. They are very neat about everything they do. They are fairly meticulous and they send over nice people too. We have an old home so the work they did for us was a little more complicated than some other jobs may be at other homes. They did a great job for us to be honest.

The valve began to leak water on a Sunday evening (of course) around 9pm. We have a service contract with Sippin, so I gave them a call and paged the on call repair person. He called back within about 5 minutes and was at our house within 30 min. Took him no more then 20 minutes to replace the valve and everything was working again. My only complaint was the cost. I found out when he arrived that this part of the system was outside our service contract. The price for the parts were $80 and labor was $160 because it was double time on a Sunday. That weekend, I went to Home Depot and found the same valve for $40 and while I can understand charging more for labor on Sunday, I thought the $160.00 was a bit excessive, especially because we buy all our oil from them and pay for a service contract on the rest of the boiler. I asked them to cut me a break, but didn't get anywhere. In the end however, the boiler works well and they came quickly when I had no heat.

I HAVE A VERY HIGH OPINION OF THEIR WORK. THEY COULD HAVE TOLD ME IT WAS SOMETHING MORE SERIOUS AND CHARGED ME MORE, AND I WOULDN'T HAVE KNOWN THE DIFFERENCE.

IT TOOK ME MANY, MANY TIMES TO REACH THEM AFTER THEY INSPECTED WHAT I HAD TO DO, AND IT TOOK WEEKS FOR ME TO GET WHAT I NEEDED. IT WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE. THEY GAVE ME A GOOD DEAL WITH ZERO PERCENT FINANCING. THEY CLEANED UP THE MESS THAT THEY MADE. I HAVE USED THEM FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS.
