We had problems with are heating system. Noise and overheating in some zones. Thought the worst. Michael came to service the system and diagnosed it quickly as air in the water pipes and no pressure. He fixed the issue quickly and stayed extra time to check every zone to make sure all was good. Once again, very happy to have Concord Oil, and Michael, do the work. We've used them for oil refilling and service for over 10 years and are very very happy.

The outside AC units had a large amount of mouse infestation, though this isn't why we called. We were just overdue for regular service. Concord oil sent one man who did all the work and did a thorough professional job, but didn't always answer questions as clearly as he might have. But we use Concord Oil for many different things (Heater, etc.) and have always been very happy.

I've used them for years. They are prompt. They explain what they do. The guy left a couple of drops of oil on the concrete floor of the basement which never happened before. We would definitely use them in the future.

The plumber was on time. Performed the job Satisfactory. We also receive oil from Concord Oil and they are always courteous and easy to deal with.

Concord oil service is the best we have ever had in 30 years of home ownership. They are prompt, responsive, and they know how to fix a problem. We highly recommend them.

As a condition of closing on the house, we had the seller contract Concord Oil to clean, tune up, and make furnace and boiler safe to use.
Two days after the closing we had MassSave do the audit. Guess what. The furnace failed. CO level 12% higher than the maximum permitted. Flume temperatures way too high. And the efficiency numbers calculated, as inspector said it "by fantasy formula".
So now I am blocked from doing insulation work until we fix the furnace. Furnace that supposed to be working and safe.
Unacceptable and unprofessional.

We got stuck in the coldest day of the year and in the middle of a snow storm with no heating oil. Concord Oil were able to commit to coming the same day, despite the weather and make sure that the furnace is starting properly.

On a regular basis, the day or two after Concord Oil delivers 'fresh' oil, we wind up with our heat going out overnnight.  Then when their tech comes, it is often chalked up to some sort of sediment in the oil which clogged some part of the burner.  Pretty much every winter, we wake up without heat 3-4 times.  I finally asked to speak to the repair manager last week and he was sympathetic and told me we would not be charged for the prior efforts they had made to fix it, which I appreciated.  But even he had to admit when scrolling throug our long record of house calls that we seemed to be having a lot of problems.
To some degree this might just be a review of oil heat in general, and I will give Concord Oil credit that hey are generally pretty prompt in making their service calls.  But the quality of the repairs has been extremely lacking.

We have been using them because they provide good service. We have a particularly difficult access to our tank in the winter as many companies who have trucks cannot get down our driveway. They have some trucks and have been really good about working with us and coordinating with us so that get down here. We have a contract with them. Their price is pretty fair. They have high quality products, very responsive and very punctual.

We spend $2,500 a month for oil in the winter. The maintenance work is about $250 each year. They have been very reliable and punctual but we have very little contact with them. We had something recently where we forgot and they were extremely quick and helpful. They didn't do the work but they helped us find someone to deal with the propane. They have been very helpful.

Concord Oil's workers were the only ones who were able to figure out why we had no hot water. We had gone for literally a year with only enough water for one hot shower per day. We had had many people look at the system. It turned out to be an inexpensive problem. Concord Oil is also our oil company.

After we found out that our boiler plate was failing, we were informed by several different professionals that we needed a new boiler. We requested estimates from Concord Oil as we wanted them to replace our boiler. However, Concord Oil never gave us estimates nor did they follow through by phone or email. We called Concord Oil to ask if they could email us estimates for repairs. Concord Oil informed us that they did not have external email capabiities Recently, we USPS mailed a letter to Concord Oil to request resolution. However, as of to date they have not responded. Regretfully, we will probably switch service providers in the spring given our most recent experiance. In closing, Concord Oil has been been around for many years and they do have a good reputation despite this isolated episode that we experianced. In addition, they also have allot of overhead which results in higher pricing compared to other providers. However, the trade off is that they have the ability to respond to 24 hour emergencies. Our adivce to Angies List suscribers is to shop around and examine your own needs first.

They provided good service, but expensive.

Excellent. We hired them to repair/service our furnace. Another company tried to repair it, but the furnace kept shutting off and needed to be reset. We called Concord because the previous owners of our house had used them, hoping they would know more about the problem. Despite the lack of any past problems, they assessed the situation and recommended minor service that eliminated our problem completely.

Concord Oil Co. has provided us with very satisfactory service. We haven't had to have them repair anything yet, but they do a good job of servicing and maintaining the unit. I think that they do this so well is the reason that we haven't had to do repairs. They are very professional and efficient. We pay an annual fee. There several different levels of contracts, and I believe we have the lowest one.

VERY RESPONSIVE. GUY THAT FILLED THE TANK WAS VERY NICE. VERY GOOD COMPANY.
