At first thought that the source was a roof overhang above the window. Angel gave an estimate for the work assuming it was the source. However, he warned that source could be from cracks in to mortar of the rock façade and would not know until some of the interior dry wall above the window and the roofing on the overhang was removed. Unfortunately the overhang was not the source of water intrusion. Thus had to remove the rock façade to find the source. Anel gave me a revised estimate for the work needed. So the damaged exterior wood was replace and interior drywall section replaced. The outside section where the rocks were removed was properly waterproofed. Instead of rock had this section replace with bricks. Also since the second floor window just above the leak and the double living room room window were in need of repair or replacement, had these windows replaced. Angel kept us informed as work progressed. His crew were very respectful and knowledgeable. The project results were extremely satisfying. As the project was being completed, my neighbors were very much impressed with workmanship and beauty of the work. Again highly recommend Zzeo's Home Restorations. "I called Restore You and the owner Art Sulik came to my home at my convenience. He surveyed unerdneath my home and found mold on the floor structure and moisture and water on the ground. He removed the existing insulation, cleaned the wood with hydrogen peroxide product, followed through with an anti microbial. After everything dried they Hepa vac the wood to remove any mold spores which are allergens. Then fogged everything with Timbor fungicide Disodium Ocyabotate tetrahydrate (boron). The foundation walls inside the crawlspace were painted with Dry lok extreme, a waterproof paint. A vapor Barrier 6 Mil was added to the ground. His work was exceptional! I was very pleased.
