"A big thank you to Bryn, Ron and Guy for all your hard work and help to repair and remodel our bathroom. Would highly recommend 5 stars and their team as they were a pleasure to work with, completed the job in a timely fashion, and we are very happy with the results. The unique tub surround not only looks nice, but was a breeze to clean and I am thrilled to no longer smell/use the harsh chemicals to clean it. Win win all around."

"The technician did wonderful work & also went above & beyond when I added another plumbing issue while he was here. The only con was the $20 gas fee This work was completed before gas prices went up, & I was already paying an $89 fee just for them to assess the job, which was additional to the work. I expected to pay the $89. ,but I felt the gas fee was unnecessary."

"Contractors did an immaculate job. I am very satisfied. Price was fair. Contractors were on time each day,and left no walls unfinished. Worked until sunlight was gone and even worked pass that time in the rain. Everyone was so nice and understanding from Scheduler Dawn to InspectorJosh,Plumber Lenny,Lorenzo and his Laborers and Electrician. Even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Dan who came to make sure I was happy with the work. They put me at ease."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Your FEMA flood zone designation and elevation certificate dictate exactly where new plumbing runs to stay above base flood elevation. Knowing your foundation type—whether pilings, a slab, or a crawl space—determines how professionals access your pipes. In Brigantine, understanding your post-Sandy renovation history identifies hidden mixed-era piping. Confirm your sewer connection status and check any local homeowner association rules before starting work.

Helpful?

Always confirm your local permits are officially closed after finishing plumbing work to prevent future insurance issues. Notify the utility authority about any water service changes. You must document all repairs affecting your lowest floor and share this with your flood insurance carrier. For seasonal properties in Brigantine, hire a professional to winterize the new system. Finally, test your water quality if you replaced older pipes.

Helpful?

In Brigantine, a simple pinhole leak in older copper pipes points to systemic saltwater corrosion. Rusty water from your taps indicates internal pipe decay. Slow drains or gurgling sounds signal early slab leaks or root intrusions in our sandy soil. If you notice a minor drip when reopening your seasonal home, address it immediately. These small drips precede major joint failures caused by winter freeze-thaw cycles.

Helpful?

As a homeowner in NJ, you must personally authorize all permit applications before plumbing begins. You are responsible for initiating any water service upgrade requests directly with the utility authority. You must also choose whether to build a system for seasonal or year-round use, which dictates insulation needs. Finally, you decide whether to simply meet minimum flood codes or exceed them to improve your flood insurance rating.

Helpful?

Plumbing changes directly impact other elevated systems in your NJ home. Rerouting pipes near elevated utility areas disturbs HVAC condensate lines, flood vents, or repositioned electrical wiring. Working in crawl spaces or kitchens also risks intersecting with natural gas lines. Because many local homes sit on pilings or elevated slabs, moving drain lines directly affects structural fasteners and vapor barriers installed for flood mitigation.
