"Wonderful. Last year we had Edward Griffin Masonry, LLC complete a colossal overhaul of our home’s exterior. We live in a twin in Ardmore, and the home’s stucco had been significantly compromised. It was determined by multiple stucco remediation inspectors that we needed to have the entire stucco exterior replaced. After conducting extensive research online, reviewing news articles, interviewing professionals in the building and legal professions, and getting quotes from four of the most respected stucco remediation firms in the Philadelphia metro area, we decided to hire Ed Griffin. We had Ed remove the stucco and replace it with Certainteed vinyl siding. In addition to the stucco, much of the wood sheathing needed replacement, along with doors, windows and surrounding woodwork. He improved the look of our masonry porch columns, exterior wall, and rear foundation; and he hung new gutters and downspouts, removed light fixtures and added new ones. We also hired a third-party oversight professional to ensure the job was done correctly. Ed’s crew was professional, well-organized, hard-working, and highly-skilled. They secured the work area at the end of every day so our home was well-protected from the elements. Griffin Masonry and Ed himself were a pleasure to work with. Ed’s highly-competent and well-respected, gave great advice, is a good listener, and ably responded to our preferences and custom requests. Whether it's worth it to install a heated driveway depends on how often you'll use it, your lifestyle, and your budget. If you live in a mild climate with little snowfall, then installing a built-in heated driveway system may not be worth it. Permeable pavers typically last between 20 and 40 years, depending on the material, installation quality, and how well they’re maintained. Interlocking concrete pavers and stone systems tend to last the longest, especially when built on a properly compacted base. Regular cleaning to prevent joint clogging can significantly extend their lifespan.

Standard paver sizes that measure 2 3/8 inches are appropriate for placing over concrete. However, always make sure you are not making the area too thick for daily use. A large step between your lawn and the patio can be a tripping hazard, and you need to be able to open and close all doors that swing over the top of the installation.

Concrete driveways add the most value to your home because they last longer and have a better aesthetic appeal. However, depending on your climate, asphalt may be preferable as it handles freezing temperatures and high heat better than concrete.

An example of permeable paving is a set of cinder blocks or natural stone pavers with room inside for natural materials, such as gravel, sand, or grass. You can also design these pavers with brick or plastic tiles.
