"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

"I would not hesitate for a second hiring Horsman Builders for any of my house projects or remodel, in fact that is what I will do from now on. "1. Super friendly customer service by Samantha. 2. Super friendly and highly expertise work by Josh. 3. We had a difficult section of flooring that had to be repaired and redone. Other contractors were not willing to take the "small" job, One "flooring" expert felt it wouldn't come out right. Josh explained the situation, told us he would do the job, and promised it would come out looking better than even we expected could be done. And he was exactly right! My wife and I were more than pleased. I think we were amazed that getting everything to match as close as Josh said he'd be able to do was possible. 4. Another thing that we found so valuable was Josh's setting up of a tent around himself to protect the rest of the room from being overwhelmed with dust. Above and beyond that, he had vacuuming going on at the same time and we really appreciated the efforts made to keep as much dust as possible from going where we didn't want it going. 5.Josh also wrote us up a nice estimate for a lot of other work we plan to have done in and on the outside of the house. And you can be sure that Josh and Samantha will get the call when we are ready to commence with the next projects. Summary: Green Shed Renovations is a diamond in the rough of a plethora of contractors in the world today. We were left hanging by our previous contractor, not just once but twice. "Sean is an absolute gem in the contractor world honest, responsive, upfront about costs, knowledgeable about the industry and materials, and well-connected to skilled sub-contractors. He came highly recommended and because of his extensive experience we were immediately comfortable with him. We appreciated the information and transparency he provided in the budget and how he walked us through different material types, including pros and cons of various cabinets, flooring, lighting, etc. Sean also brainstormed creative ideas, such as helping us change a space of kitchen that was not utilized into a workspace with glass cabinets. He took on the challenging task of renovating the kitchen in our intergenerational home. During this renovation process, every step of the way he was incredibly patient in explaining the process and providing updates to all of us; this often meant additional visits or correspondence on his end, which he was happy to do so. Xavier, the owner, is extremely professional and made sure to go above and beyond to provide a great looking final product that meets his high standards while being able to meet our requirements. The job was a 600sqft composite decking with picture frame and stairs. He was able to provide valuable advice and he make sure that everything was up to code. His attention to details is outstanding, and in order to complete the job he even worked on freezing temperatures over the weekend.
