"My wife and I were considering having some remodeling done to our house but we were not sure how it would all work. A friend recommended we hire an architect or draftsman to help with the ideas. We live in Tyngsborough and he came to our house from Weymouth and spent the day measuring everything in the house and provided us with an outstanding renderings and diagrams of our house from all the floors. We didn't have any original drawings and neither did the town wit details. Richards work was exemplary and nothing short of outstanding. He really knows his stuff and he kept in contact the entire time. We asked for the changes and he made them to a second diagram with a 3D layout we could show to the contractors for the remodel. "We started out looking for an architect/designer, and met the owner of Tseranos Construction, Sterg, in the process. He referred us to a design architect, which we used, and we ended up then hiring Tseranos Construction as our general contractor. Sterg was really great to work with. He found ways to keep costs down while doing everything that we wanted to have done. In the end, the garage construction project took about 5 months, but we are thrilled with the results. Would hire Sterg again for future projects."

"She was great and incredibly responsive.  I sent a request on a Saturday night and she got back to me within the hour.  I interviewed three different landscape designers and her pricing came out in the middle but I liked the design she put forward and how quickly she was willing to do the work for me.  She had a contract landscaper who she worked with who does all the work with her with regards to the designing.  I really liked everyone and they did an amazing as well as fast job.  They worked out really well for me.  I would use her again in the future."

"Given the complexity of the project, it went as smoothly as something like this can go. Hagit developed a very functional and attractive design based around an island that would seat 3, along with a variety of cabinetry. She was very patient when we wanted a number of adjustments. She accompanied us to pick out counters and backsplash, and always seemed to have good ideas for selections according to our tastes. Brian mapped out the engineering, which included moving a support beam, together with an engineering firm. He also mapped out a three-month schedule with the various subcontractors the firm uses, like the plumber, electrician, plasterer, counter people, floor people, etc. They all had lots of experience with this kind of work, and in working with KCF. Brian worked hard to ensure that new wood flooring would match well with existing flooring just outside the new kitchen. The KCF team also took a lot of care to set things up in our condo to create barriers to minimize dust and dirt, and try to ease our inconvenience; they even loaned us a microwave to use in our temporary kitchen in the basement. For the most part, subs showed up as scheduled, and did good work. KCF also coordinated all the town inspections. There were only a few glitches--the biggest one was when the tiles for the backsplash arrived broken, and it took some weeks to get replacements. The tile outfit wasn't very responsive, and seemed not to care much. But KCF kept on with all the other work, and the tiles were finally put in pretty much near the end. We have used the kitchen for a couple months now and love it. The design and craftsmanship all worked well. Going through a kitchen re-do is never a pleasant experience, but KCF made it as painless as possible."

We love our new kitchen.  This company's 20 years of experience really shows.  The owner is a great manager.  He worked with his crew, as well as with the electricians, plumbers, and painters, etc., everyday of the the project.  They are also custom woodworkers and the cabinetry and built-ins they created and installed were way beyond our expectations.   At night, the lighting they installed on dimmer switches makes our 21st century kitchen look like it is sitting under a starry sky.  We would never use any other contractor.  Our kitchen looks like it cost twice as much as it did.  They can design, build, and repair anything throughout your home.  "

"Vendor was able to complete and interior framing project in record time and was able to do a patch work job on an area of my roof that had been damage by a falling tree. This was completed in a 24 hour period. While on site, I requested advice on future siding work that needs to be done later this Spring. Bill and his crew have done several jobs for me.  One big job and a few small ones.  The addition of two dormers was a pretty big job we had done in 2005.  The guys were courteous, showed up on time, and always cleaned up at the end of the day.   On Thanksgiving day, when the job was nearing completion, we had a torrential rain storm and water started pouring into the house through a section of the roof  in "the construction zone".   I called Bill and he came out personally and got out there and secured everything to stop the issue.   Again, this is ON Thanksgiving day.  
To note ~  the first time I called Bill about another job I needed done, years after the dormer job, he instantly remembered me and even where I lived.    It's this kind of attention to detail and professionalism that should be the standard, not only for builders and general contractors, but for all business proprietors.
