I work every job differently on the billing procedures, as not every job is the same. I do all my own dirt work straight through to the finish work. And most importantly, when you call my phone, I answer it, day or night!

The material that’s best for your private road depends on your property, the climate in your area, and your personal preferences. Your asphalt driveway won’t actually cure for around six months to one year. During this time, it’s more likely to get damaged or weakened by heavy machinery, vehicles, and high temperatures. 

If your driveway is cracked, you can repave it with a process called asphalt overlay. Overlay is more cost-effective than a full replacement but is better suited for minor cracks and issues. If you have major cracks or other problems like water pooling, asphalt overlay isn’t your best bet. Plus, paving over a cracked driveway only extends the lifetime by about 10 years, whereas replacing it would start the clock over completely to give you up to 30 years.

To maintain their strength, asphalt driveways and parking lots need to be sealcoated once every two to five years. You may also need to reapply paint striping every few years as it fades to ensure drivers can safely navigate the parking lot.

Asphalt edging secures the sides of your driveway to prevent crumbling and cracking over time. Most driveways have edges with a 45-degree grading. This helps transfer some of the stress from the asphalt to the ground underneath. If your driveway doesn’t have proper edging, the pressure from your car may break down the edges over time.
