"The company rapidly responded to the service request and booked an appointment with me in a timely fashion. Technician, John, arrived on time and did call 20-30 minutes prior to arrival. He was polite, profession and respected the property. Quickly diagnosed the issue and provided me with several options after showing me and explaining the issue with the fireplace. Fortunately the parts were in his truck and he was able to quickly effect a repair. Everything was cleaned up and he even cleaned the fireplace glass insert (this is a natural gas fireplace). "Mr. Carideo did a great job on my small project. He tried to save me money on the materials by using a different thickness of wood. I ultimately decided to not go with his recommemdation. But I was very happy that he consulted me first and that he was trying to save me money. He handled the project in a reasonable amount of time. Actually sooner than I thought because it was around Christmas and New Years. His fee was in line with other estimates. I would use his services again."

"I suppose that if you call yourself "Dependable" right in your name, you have to live up to it, and Dependable David definitely lives up to it. First of all, he answers the phone and gets back to you. Sometimes, this is to tell you that he has no room in his schedule to take on your task. But at least he gets back to you to let you know. And if he does commit to doing work for you, he's there when he says he'll be there. He also does good, solid work. And he listens carefully to what you're asking him to do. If you ask him to be extra neat when painting, he'll be extra neat. If you ask him to tape everything, he'll tape everything. He bills by the hour, so this allows him to be more careful or take extra time to do something just right, if you ask him to. He doesn't need to rush, because he bills by the hour. He also doesn't farm out the work to a bunch of different guys. He shows up himself and does the work. In our case, he ended up swooping in and saving the day after our previous contractor made a royal mess of the job and had to be fired. So far, for us, he has done: --Mudding and painting a large room, including high ceilings and stair wells. --Mudding and painting an entire kitchen. --Installing natural (unpainted) Hickory baseboard molding in our entire 2-story house (including applying polyurethane to the molding before installing). This was an absolutely gigantic job (491 feet of molding), with so many cuts and corners, including some tiny detail areas where the new molding had to mate with existing woodwork (like around the staircase). --Framing, drywalling, and mudding a new hall closet. He also sourced the door for us. In this case, he only had one free day in his schedule, but he didn't over-promise, and told us that he would only have time to frame/drywall and do the first coat of mud (I would have to finish sanding, mudding, painting, installing the door, and trim myself). And he did exactly what he said he would do. All of this work has been great in terms of quality. David is also a friendly guy. He's fun to talk to. And he seems like the kinda guy you can trust in your home. But most of all... he's dependable!"

"Kevin was great, he was very responsive on a Saturday and came to hang a new door for me the next day. The installation was more complicated than I originally anticipated. The hinges, deadbolt and door knob did not align with the existing cut outs. Kevin did a great job making the door look like it was pre-hung on the existing frame."

"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing.
