Came out in March and said he would send a quote within a week or two, never did. Upon follow-up he was rude, didn't recall the project and now is booked up until November. Not willing to fix his mistake. Extremely poor service.

Reliable and trustworthy from the get-go! He actually promptly returns phone calls! Throughout the project, Kevin proved himself to be hard working and meticulous from start to finish! We have not one critical thing to say! He was punctual, efficient, so easy to work with and, did I already say hard-working??? His honesty and integrity set him apart from so many other contractors, in fact, he just called to say we had overpaid him by $100.00! Wow! My husband and I were very impressed by not only his work, but by his trust-worthy character and the pride he takes in his work. His assistant, Josh, was also a hard worker and showed such attention to detail - he was even careful not to destroy plants in my garden just below the window he was repairing! It was money well spent! We have already been singing Percival Remodeling's praises and referring him to others. We will hire him for all our future construction projects! Kevin helped us install deadbolts to two doors and made repairs to a single door. He gave an honest assessment of our situation and was able to repair doors instead of jumping to replacement. Job was done in good time and came in under our quoted price! We will certainly be using Kevin again.

Said I needed to sign contract and pay 1/2 before project could begin. Contract never sent. A week ago he called to say it was being sent that evening, but never was.

This went great! I thought I had figured out some things (such as anchoring) but my thinking was wrong; Kevin figured out how to do it with the materials on hand. Assembly was fast and it looks fantastic. I give him an A+ on everything and will recommend him to all my friends and neighbors!

Very well. Kevin and his crew completed the job within a couple of weeks from when they started and did a professional job, from start to finish, including the cleanup. They even fixed a few items that were not even in the contract on another part of the house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Percival Remodeling. As a matter of fact, I already did recommend them to my next door neighbor who needs some work done.

Kevin is a busy man. And the reason behind that is everyone wants him to do their jobs! Although it took spittle longer for me to pin him down on a time schedule, once he came to my job that's what he did until he was finished and I was satisfied. He did come back a couple times for minor details but that's what makes him a great contractor. He is punctual, hard working and meticulous about his work, saving everyone any aggravation that should come with a job. Would definitely recommend.

Kevin & his team fixed a leak in my roof, and repaired some significant exterior rot resulting from the leak. The work was completed very quickly and with high quality. Kevin was great to work with and very professional. I'd hire him again and recommend him to others.

We asked Kevin to look a back porch on our town home where we had seen some water leaking into the garage below. Kevin accurately diagnosed the problem and completely rebuilt the porch. The work required Kevin to completely understand how the porch was initially installed and determine a better way to reinstall. The work included removing the old porch, redoing the water/weather barrier underneath, reconstructing the porch itself and installing new railings. Kevin proved himself to be a terrific choice as a contractor. We live in Florida and travel extensively. Throughout the course of the project Kevin kept us unformed of his progress including any challenges he encountered. He had full access to our home during the project and proved himself to be extremely reliable and very honest. He treated our home as his own. Kevin's work is exemplary. His choice of materials and his workmanship was perfect. We could not be happier with the both the cost as well as the outcome. We could not recommend Kevin more highly.

Kevin responded immediately to look at possible sheathing damage to our home on the ocean. We were in Florida at the time we called. He was so responsive that he went out of his way to look at the home the day I called him. Communicating by phone while on a ladder, he pulled some of the siding off the home and was able to find extensive water damage underneath the siding. We were so impressed with his effort we decided to fly North to meet with him to review the damage and map out a repair plan. Kevin was able to demonstrate to us as well as our insurance company that there was significant water damage to the sheathing. This damage was due to improper construction of the home by the original contractor including the windows, the wrong vapor barrier, etc. Kevin was so effective in his diagnosis that the insurance company was willing to honor an insurance claim. Becaue of Kevin's professionalism and expert diagnosis we decided to move forward with him as a contractor to remove most of the siding on the home, replace the windows, sheathing, and vapor barrier. Kevin worked closely with us on the scope of the work needed and the cost of his work proved to be very fair. He took full ownership of the project and did an excellent job of keeping us informed of any further work he deemed necessary. Kevin turned out to be the perfect contractor for our project. As we live in Florida and travel extensively, we found we could trust Kevin to do exactly what he said he would do, including having full access to our home despite us not being there. He proved to be completely reliable and a very honest contractor, treating our home as he would his own. As well, Kevin was very easy to work with including any changes we wanted to make. He was always available to talk to about the project. His projected completion time proved to be pretty accurate. He ran about a week or so longer than originally planned. That turned out to be for reasons beyond his control. The quality of his work was beyond reproach. He is very conscientious and takes enomous pride in his work. We would recommend him without reservation for any such project.....we are great fans of Kevin.

All of the work was done very well! The siding looks great, and the gutter and drywall were done well too. The trim and other jobs were done professionally, and I was really happy with the results. I especially appreciated that they fit the work into their busy summer schedule because I was on a tight timeline in order to get my house on the market. They hauled everything away and cleaned up the areas they worked in. All the the work was priced fairly, and I did not feel like I was overcharged at all. Great job overall!

I found Kevin's name on Angie's List and called Kevin. He gave us a very reasonable estimate over the phone. We had him come over to confirm the estimate. Kevin gave us a time frame for the roof to be put on over our deck. He kept us informed as to when the materials would arrive and when he would start our roof. He arrived on time and when he started the job he stayed with it till it was completely done. He was very professional in his contact with us and in his work. Communication with him was excellent and he always returned our calls promptly. We recommend him highly and we would definitely hire him again. It was a very positive experience working with Kevin!!

We called to get an estimate in remodeling our spare room. Our call was returned and he started asking my wife a bunch of questions including the size of the room. I work from home , so my wife asked me to measure which I did. Then he asked me about insulation, and then asked me if the construction was 2x4 or 2x6. When I said I didn't know, he replied "I can't help you because you couldn't answer a simple question. Have a nice day. goodbye" I'm not in construction. If I knew about it, I wouldn't need to hire someone... Extremely unprofessional. If the job was too small, he should have just said so. We are in the beginning stages, and getting quotes, and we are making an effort to hire a local business. The first contractor came to our home to assess the job. It's not as if he would have to travel far...

They were great. They cleaned up well, they were personable.  Would use them again.

Given some other jobs in which he was involved, it took a bit of back n forth to get things scheduled, but he was able to accommodate and perform the work within a few weeks of our initial conversation. He was right on time and did a nice job. Very polite and respectful. I'll be hiring him again in near future.

I did not use them. It was a free estimate. It was very competitive. He followed up. They were really good. I just did not go with them.
