Yes, you should always wet concrete before jackhammering to avoid harmful dust from becoming airborne. According to the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, they recommend a wet-cut method that involves continuous spraying of the concrete where the jackhammer bit hits. Use a jackhammer with a built-in sprayer attachment, or have a work partner spray the area with a garden hose and spray nozzle.

While it’s possible to remove a fence post with a truck and requires little physical effort, we don’t recommend this method. You can potentially hurt others or yourself or damage your property or vehicle attempting to take a fence post out with a truck. Instead, use a farm jack or a pole puller to remove the post.

Removing a fence can be rather difficult. The fence posts are likely buried deep in the ground and may even be set in concrete. After removing the fence pickets and rails, allocate plenty of time for removing the fence posts.
