"Once again and with the highest confidence, we hired Russell's Contracting to convert our back entrance into a more open, useful mudroom. As promised, they arrived on time on the expected date and started by sealing off the back entrance for dust. The demolition of the closet was first done, and then the rehab began. I was amazed at the level of detail necessary to make the new mudroom perfect. From fixing the ceiling to installing new walls, taping and sanding, painting, new baseboards, and moving the overhead light, it was fun to watch. Colby was professional, exacting, efficient, clean, and asked all the right questions to ensure we were happy with the result. The new mudroom is exactly what we wanted. In addition, we asked Russell's to help us figure out how to make our open staircase to the second floor safer. Keith, Colby, and Max designed and installed a custom-built, stair-to-ceiling railing system that looks great and provides the necessary safety we were looking for. They also made it removable to accommodate large objects up and down stairs. The amount of time they spent was crazy, and the amount of math they did to ensure it was plumb and solid was above and beyond our expectations. My house was built in 1933, and this railing system looks like it could have been original to the house. It is a masterpiece. "It has been three years and we are still fixing the mistakes made by North Atlantic. Not only did they not listen when we were originally installing the patio, graded the patio into our garage (fun when it rains), they have ruined a large portion of our yard and our garden by extending the sand, rocks, and landscape fabric over 5 feet past the patio we asked them to install. When we asked them to fix it 3 years ago, they came and promised that it was all set. We have lost hundreds of dollars in plants and grass due to their lack of quality or promise. This was my 3rd effort to remove their mess and has cost me not only money, but 15+ hours of personal hard labor to repair the damage. I would not recommend them to anyone and I wasnâ t going to post anything, but spending 6 hours digging everything up yesterday, made me feel otherwise. Stay away!"
