I hate to move. We worked with Bridge Brothers and our move was almost enjoyable if moves can be enjoyable. It started with Candece coming out to review our move. She listened intently and took notes. Then she provided us with what we thought was a reasonable quote. The crew we worked with: Dan, Paul Jr., Carlos and Luis were very professional, amenable and extremely pleasant. They made sure that our belongings were secure and wrapped for protection. They bent over backwards to make sure that our items were placed exactly where we wanted them to go. I can't say enough good things about how our move was handled.

I received three quotes from local companies. Two did estimate entirely over the phone. The owner of Bridges Bros, Jeremy, came to my house and explained the process his company uses. This meeting was a big part of the reason I chose Bridges. They were not the lowest estimate. They have a fabulous way of estimating the total cost. Very impressive with Cantrece zooming with me on the phone. But this review is really based upon Mike and his crew of Matty and Dan. They are the heart of the company and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Respected my belongings, were careful not to track dirt into my house, set up all furniture that needed to be disassembled to move. I had a very large bookcase that I wanted moved from one room to another. The three men tried various ways but the turn was too tight. I told them to just forget it. About 30 minutes later I see Mike and his crew remove a window. They took bookcase out one window and into the other room through another window. Totally genius. I wasn’t even aware my windows popped out. Without Mike’s great idea my bookcase would never be where I wanted it. Mike certainly went the extra mile. A moving company is only as good as their employees. These men worked hard and long. They were professional and efficient. I highly recommend Bridges Bros.

We originally chose Bridges Bros Movers because they were local, had descent ratings and had their own storage facility so we didn't have to deal with a different company for storage. They were not the cheapest but we were willing to pay a bit more for quality. The actual movers on both moves were terrific. They were very careful and protected all floors doors and walls during both moves. I would absolutely recommend moving with them. I would absolutely never store things there again. It was expensive, which we knew in advance but we paid for convenience. Somethings were stored outside of containers in their warehouse, which we also knew may happen ahead of time. We did have damage to our belongings. When management and ownership was made aware, they communicated quickly but did not accept any responsibility and blamed us and even the manufacturer of the item. I was not looking for money from them only assistance in determining what caused the damage so a proper repair couId be made. Bridges Bros Movers provided none, and even went as far as to say the damage was from the house we moved from. Upon my investigation with the manufacture that type of damage is cause during moving mostly. There was no concern or assistance at all from Brides Bros Movers. It was a total bate and switch from the service I was expecting based on the initial walk through to what was actually received. Please learn from me. Bridges Bros Movers is not worth the extra money they charge, especially don't store things with them.

"This is Jeremy Forest, the owner of Bridges Bros Movers. I can confirm that we provided moving and storage services to [Member Name Removed], but I would like to clarify a couple of the things mentioned in her review. First off, I want to make it clear that we do not store ANY client's belongings outside. We have 2 warehouse facilities and ALL storage at both facilities is done inside of the buildings. Both buildings are well maintained, monitored for pests and kept under video surveillance. None of [Member Name Removed]'s items were stored anywhere except INSIDE of these facilities. The 'damage to belongings' that [Member Name Removed] mentions in her review is specifically an elliptical trainer. Following her move, [Member Name Removed] contacted us about some cosmetic damage she saw when the unit was delivered to her new home (discoloration and 'paint bubbling' on the base of the unit) . When [Member Name Removed] called to speak with me about the issue I explained to her that the unit had gone from our moving truck directly into our warehouse and had stayed in the warehouse for approximately 1 month in an isolated storage area until final delivery to her new home. The unit was not exposed to moisture or anything that would have caused what she was describing. Additionally, I let her know that at least one of the areas of discoloration was visible in pictures we took of the elliptical machine when we did an inventory of her shipment prior to bringing it into our warehouse. (An inventory and documentation of pre-existing damage is required by law when items are stored in a mover-owned storage facility) I did recommend that [Member Name Removed] contact the manufacturer to determine how the 'bubbling paint' may have occurred. It is my belief that this is corrosion caused by sweat and/or moisture exposure in the the client's basement. The machine was set up in the basement of the clients home where it sat on a cement floor with exposed copper water pipes overhead for several years prior to our move."

I am looking for a mover on Angies list and can't believe this company has good reviews. Perhaps ownership and management has changed since I used them a number of years ago. I paid for storage for some time. The move into storage was OK. The move to my new home was a disaster. some of my things seemed to be missing, but it was hard to verify since so many boxes and rugs were piled everywhere. the crew was in a rush to leave and I told me everything was certainly there since everything had been removed from storage and if I looked under the pile I would find them. I shouldn't have signed the paperwork but I felt pressured and thought they must know. Upon unpacking I found that quite a few things were missing, some of them irreplaceable family items. When I called the company, they were completely unhelpful and even said I was accusing them of stealing (I think the items were probably misplaced in storage somehow). I never received the lost items or any help. I don't think they cared at all. I made the mistake of not buying insurance because it was a short local move and I figured what could go wrong? But the biggest mistake was using this company.

Bridges Moving company was awesome! Responsible, hard-working guys! Able to move heavy stuff. Because I have new construction I had a refrigerator and freezer delivered that the Whirlpool guys couldn't get in my basement yet. Bridges moving guys were able to move them for me. I would definitely hire them again.

This was an outstanding experience! Moving is very stressful, but Bridges Bros. made it much easier than we ever expected. We did our own packing (and are now faced with dozens of boxes to unpack!), and Bridges Bros. did all the heavy lifting. The staff was polite, professional and friendly; each man introduced himself and shook hands as they entered the house. Their experience really showed when they walked through the house to see the furniture to be moved - they quickly determined the order pieces should go in the truck for proper loading and they made note of some items that required special treatment. Some delicate items to be moved included a piano, a grandfather clock and a glass display cabinet. Everything was carefully wrapped and handled gently. They also faced the challenge of some very heavy Scandinavian furniture and an elaborate computer desk that had to be disassembled. Again, they knew exactly how to handle these pieces and the desk was reassembled at the destination. Before leaving our new home, they checked to be sure that everything was placed exactly where we wanted and they were willing to stay until all was perfect. There was absolutely no damage to any of the items they moved, or to the walls at either location. This was an excellent experience and we strongly recommend using Bridges Bros. Movers for your next move. Although we plan to stay here for some time, Bridges Bros. is the only mover we will consider if we do move again.

Byron and crew did an amazing job moving our furniture, including a piano to the second floor and an 1885 cabinet. They were incredible to work with, personable and respectful. Each piece was carefully loaded, covered and unloaded, placing furniture where requested. They even move a large headboard out a second floor windo! They were amazing and would highly recommend them to anyone moving. Thanks guy!

The moving crew showed up on time for the move out on 3/30/17. They were organized, pleasant, and efficient. They showed up on time for the move in on 4/3, as well. And this is when the one glitch happened: they brought the wrong truck. I'm still unable to explain how they didn't notice the difference between an empty truck and a full one, especially given that the ride from their facility to our home took about a half-hour. Once they returned with the right truck, the rest of the move in took place smoothly and pretty quickly; about two hours to empty the truck.
A bit more detail on the truck issue. I was prepared to ask for a small discount in light of the inconvenience, but the bill presented was $1,735. This was already discounted from the $1,900 I was expecting ($1,500, per the original estimate, plus $100/day for keeping our belongings in the truck for four days), and we were not charged for the time lost due to their mistake.
Everything we've unpacked so far, which is most of our stuff, made the move in good condition. I can't speak to their capabilities for a long-distance move, but between our experience and that of our friends who recommended them to us based on their move four years ago, I'd highly recommend Bridges Brothers Movers for any move you're making in the Merrimack Valley area. Professional, courteous, and reasonably priced.
I should point out that I never spoke with the estimator or anyone in the office. My wife handled that end of things, and had nothing but good things to say about the experience.

From the moment that I contacted Bridges Bros., I knew that we would be in good hands. They were very responsive to all of my questions and explained the process thoroughly. I was doing the packing so they handled the actual move. It was not an easy move - very hot and humid the day we moved out and rainy the day we moved in. but the crew was terrific. The move-in was delayed because floors were being done and they were very accommodating. The crew was absolutely terrific - very careful with everything - they even checked boxes that I packed if they thought there could be problem with how I packed it . We moved in to an townhouse built in 1859. There were lots of challenges - narrow steep stairs and being right on the street - no driveway for parking the trucks. We thought we would be able to get furniture to the 3rd floor but with the curved stairs and low threshold, it was impossible but they tried every time I asked them to see if some piece of furniture would fit - and never complained about it! Byron and his crew were absolutely terrific - would highly recommend Bridges Bros. In fact - might have to call for some help moving the furniture that wouldn't fit!!

A team of four men (Byron, Jay, Nick and Eric) arrived on time in two trucks. They professionally loaded most of the two trucks and then followed me to my office to pick up a desk, a chair, and seven file boxes (this detour was not part of the original quote.)
The team worked well together. They were swift and neat. Some of the furniture was quite heavy and a few pieces needed to be carried down an icy hill to a lower level.
I would definitely use them again.

They did an excellent job during the entire moving process. They came well prepared and organized for the job.
They were alert to any particulars in moving certain pieces of furniture as well efficient in loading & unloading the truck.
They were courteous and friendly & kept me informed of the progress of the move.
I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a move.

The day of our move was cold, rainy, blustery and later it actually snowed. Ours was a small move; they needed only to move furniture. All other belongings -- clothes, kitchen, books, etc -- we moved ourselves. They arrived almost on time. A friendly and experienced crew, which we were glad for given the nature of the day. They moved swiftly to get us loaded and delivered to our new home. The whole thing was done in 2.5 hours. Our new house is three stories so there were heavy beds and a sleeper sofa to get up the stairs, which they did without a hitch (and why we hired movers rather than doing it ourselves). The crew was courteous and worked continuously. They showed up at 8:30 and we were in the new house by 11. There were only two issues: when they first backed the truck into the driveway the ramp that was riding under the truck gouged the asphalt of our driveway and also in horsing the mattresses on the stairs in both houses, the mattress covers were soiled. I see on Angie's list that they are usually rated B on Price as I did. Our job was on an hourly rate for three guys and a truck. They are not the cheapest for sure. and the addition of the travel time to the hours worked boosted the price on a small job like ours. All movers charge for that travel time but it's worth taking note if you are considering several different movers and where one is closer. Also look for whether they are charging a fuel surcharge. I got estimates that were cheaper for sure. In the end however, I was glad to have experienced professional movers given the weather we had that day and the challenges of moving into a three story home.

Very good. For long haul Bridge Bros uses American Red Ball - Arley and Sam's truck. The were very punctual and cordial. Would use them again if necessary.

I lived in my home for approximately 27 years so you can imaging how much "stuff" my family has accumulated in that timeframe. The Bridges Bros. team came in and reviewed the engagement and gave me a price based upon the amount of furniture and other belongings that had to be packed and moved.
I was told to sit back, relax and not worry about a thing. Because this was a life changing move, it was hard to follow their advice. When the team came in, it took about 5 minutes for me to feel comfortable about leaving the entire job up to them. The team was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable about what they were doing. I was amazed at the short amount of time that it took to pack up my entire house. All of the materials were new and well constructed so that my personal belongings did not get damaged during the move. The office staff called to ensure that the team was there on time and that I was pleased with the progress. When it came time to unload at my new house, naturally I was concerned that "something" would be damaged. The team came in and as I instructed, placed items exactly where I wanted them. They even moved items if I changed my mind. I could not beleive how many boxes were taken into my new house. The team, to my surprise took minimal breaks even though the boxes and furniture weighed a ton. They conducted themselves in a very professional manner throughout the 2 days that they unpacked their trucks. By the way, not only did they take great pride in caring for my belongings, they also took pride in the way that they took care of their trucks and equipment. All of the moving blankets were promptly folded, the trucks were swept out and dollies etc. were stored within the truck in a manner that I have never seen. I wanted to wait to write this until I completed unpacking the boxes that came in the house. I am pleased with the care in which my belongings were packed. The boxes were clearly marked so that I knew what I was opening and where they should be placed. I am thouroughly impressed by this company and the entire staff. I would recommend this company in a second.

Bridge Brothers gave us an accurate estimate and were flexible when our move became a little more complicated. The movers themselves were professional, timely and personable. We were moving from our prime residence but had an extra pick up in another town. They had no problem and the cost for the extra pick up was very reasonable. The movers worked hard for 10 hours. It went extremely well. It was a two day move. Move out on Monday, September 9 and move in on Tuesday, September 10th. From our first contact with the company, (obtaining an estimate), to our last wave goodbye as the truck drove away from our new home our experience was professional, polite, friendly, efficient, and expertly completed. Whether talking to the company owner, the office, or the moving professionals, everything was handled with the utmost attention to detail. Moving can be very stressful, but having Bridges Bros Movers as our moving company made the move as carefree as possible. We highly recommend this company. We will use them again, no question about that.
