We provide the widest selection of finishes - both stain and lacquer. We can also address the functional needs of your kitchen with new drawer boxes and custom rollout solutions. All of our work is done by our own employees at our production facility in North Billerica. Please call for an appointment to schedule a no-cost, no-obligation in-home consultation.

"Cabinet Cures did a great job from start to finish. Joe and John were very meticulous in doing all the pre-measuring all the way through the construction, including the very meticulous finish work, which I need to give a shout out to Joe who is an excellent finish carpenter. Valerie was very informative when she came and gave us an estimate and was very responsive with any questions we had. The owner Pierre is very hands-on which was a very nice touch from a customer experience aspect. we had a couple tricky areas in the kitchen and due to their knowledge and experience, and they’re fine attention to detail every aspect of of the job far exceeded our expectations. we would highly recommend them and would like to thank all the crew for doing such a great job for us"

"Ray did a beautiful custom job installing hardwood stair treads to the basement and covering exposed foundation wall with beadboard. It took several days of measuring, cutting, and fitting. but the result matched our hardwood flooring on the main floor. We are extremely pleased with the stairs."

"The initial communication was very good, once the deposit was made communication slowed. We hired them for a kitchen cabinet repainting. Overall the painting is nice and we are happy with it. Ben the painter was a nice guy and very responsive, unfortunately he did not put things back they way he took them apart and we had to rearrange cabinet drawers ourselves. They also never used the cabinet door screws to reassemble the drawers. They only used the pull screws to reassemble them, 2 of 9 drawers had the drawer screws reinstalled. Also found a spot that wasn?t painted, looks like they went around a fixture that certainly could have been removed or at the very least they could?ve used a smaller brush to complete. It?s all in the details and in this job that wasn?t necessarily cheap, the details lacked for sure."

"Job was done in 2 days and came out great. The only negative comment is that they should've shown up to the job with the proper equipment. Power washing was part of the job and they didn't bring a hose and the machine didn't work so they had to leave to get everything. "

Hi folks, I have a broad range of carpentry skills. I have a degree in architecture and a background in construction which has lead me to custom carpentry/woodworking projects. I hold my work to a very high standard and I expect the best from myself on every project. I enjoy projects that require creative design solutions because, that is where my skills set me apart from the rest.

Cabinet Contractors questions, answered by experts

Medicine cabinets are not necessarily outdated, but they have evolved in design and functionality. However, some homeowners prefer other storage solutions, like wall-mounted shelving or modern vanity cabinets with built-in storage. Still, medicine cabinets remain a practical and space-saving choice in many bathrooms. In most cases, potential home buyers won’t be swayed by a medicine cabinet one way or the other.

You can use a soft-close hinge adapter on existing cabinet doors instead of buying new soft-close hinges. If you want soft-close cabinet doors on a budget, invest in the small adapters that allow you to convert an existing hinge to a soft-close style. They’re much less expensive than new soft-close hinges and are simpler to install. However, they don’t always last as long.

DIY is possible, but professional assembly ensures proper alignment, stability, and cable management.

The order of the steps for your kitchen remodel depends on the project scope, layout, and contractor availability. However, typically, you would install plumbing and electrics first, then insulation and drywall, before moving on to the flooring, cabinetry, and countertops. Appliances usually go in last. You can then take the time to add the fixtures, hardware, and other final personal touches.

It’s best to stick with lightweight cabinets, such as medium-density fiberboard, if you don’t have a wall stud to secure them to. Unless you’re attaching the cabinet to a flat board attached to wall studs, it’s best not to risk it with heavy cabinetry or contents. Solid wood cabinets and heavy dishware should be avoided if you cannot secure the cabinet to a wall stud. Either way, always check the weight on your wall anchors and be sure not to exceed it.
