"I tried Sod for my yard twice but my German Shepard killed it. I figured I give this a try and it has been two weeks so far and I feel it is one of the best things I have done. Yard looks great and the crew that put it in did an awesome job. They did a lot of work to level out the yard and to secure the turf down. Anyone is welcome to come and check this out in Lowell Ma. "Victor did an amazing job on my yard. I was in need of landscape services quickly and he started the job right after he gave me the estimate. I was beyond impressed. He is extremely professional and I plan on continuing to use his services. The fact that he is a tree service and landscape service was what caught my attention. Have already recommended him to friends."

"Richard was awesome to deal with. We made a call to him because we were in need of some work and my brother-in-law had used him for one of his properties. He showed up we talked about a plan and then he came and took care of everything. He does awesome work, hard worker and has a keen since of detail. He definitely treats your lawn like it’s his own and he wants to make it look as good as possible. I am so glad that we found him and we will continue using him and we will definitely refer him to other people as well."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Palm trees are relatively easy to grow, especially when planting different varieties in their native habitats. While regular watering is crucial in the first couple of months while the palm develops a strong root ball, palms typically require minimal maintenance once they’re established. You’ll need to prune palm fronds once or twice per year to keep it in tip-top shape.

The best time to plant is between spring and autumn. Springtime weather is typically mild and is when nurseries start to bloom. When the summer weather arrives and it’s hot out, it’s best to avoid planting bare-root plants, but you can still plant many in-container varieties. The first sign of fall is another great opportunity to plant biennials if you live in southern states, or a lovely vegetable garden up north.

You should plant trees at least 15 to 20 feet away from your house, and more if the tree will grow large and spread its limbs. Trees pose several dangers to houses when planted too close. They can litter the roof with leaves and branches, create fire hazards, make a ladder for larger pests, and even damage the foundation as their roots grow.

Yes, rock gardens do need water. That said, they typically require less regular watering and, instead, more occasional, deep watering since the rocks trap moisture for longer than mulch. Make sure you don’t water your rock garden too much during the winter.

The best time to plant a tree is in the spring, so the roots have time to grow into the surrounding soil before winter sets in. Some people recommend planting in the late fall. However, planting in the spring reduces the stress on the tree, as it will be emerging from dormancy, giving it the full spring and summer ahead to acclimate and put down roots into the soil.
