"Raphi contacted me almost immediately after I submitted a request for a quote. I told him that I was looking to get my 65in tv mounted but I needed to wait because I didn't have a mount yet. He then said, if I wanted it done today, he could stop and pick up a mount and come over. So he and his partner did just that. They were both VERY professional and didn't leave until it was perfect and straight etc. I would absolutely recommend him and his team and would reach out again in the future."

"I received no quote from them, so I blame them. Their service has gone downhill very fast. This vendor did a good job but I would never have paid $305 to hang a TV on a wall that took 10 minutes."

"Our phone system is old, voice mail no longer worked and we needed to have another line working in our office a week ago. We contacted several others earlier this week, they just wanted to sell us a new system, rather than listen to our needs. Tim (Progressive) listened and found a solution for our business. He was even available to get all of our business phones and voice mail working properly the same day! When we are ready for a new system we will definitely trust and hire Progressive Consulting. Honesty, understanding and expertise tells all and Progressive Consulting has it all!."

"What a great experience and final product. Eddie and Simon were relentless in finding the perfect stones for the new retaining wall and front steps. Installation was done beautifully and with a masterful eye. They also installed the new railing on the steps, which came out beautifully, too. All of our neighbors have dropped by and commented on how incredible everything looks (and how jealous they are). I can't say enough about their professionalism, craftsmanship, and drive to please their clients. Plus, they're really nice guys!"

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

It’s worth hiring a TV-mounting professional to hang your TV to ensure the safety of your device and long-lasting results. If you’re investing in a large or smart TV, it’s worth preserving your investment to guarantee that it’s hung safely and correctly. Plus, a TV mounting professional can recommend the right wall mount based on the wall type and TV size and weight.

Yes, you can mount a TV on a brick wall as a DIY project. This process requires specific tools, such as a masonry drill and masonry bits, as a regular power drill is not sufficient for drilling into dense surfaces like brick. You will need to drill mounting holes directly into the bricks, not the mortar, to ensure there is enough support for the weight of the TV and its bracket. After drilling, use large plastic wall anchors or concrete screws to securely attach the TV mount.

In most cases, you should not put a TV on a fireplace mantel. The minimum width required to put a TV safely on a shelf or mantel is 10 inches, but pre-made mantels are usually too shallow, averaging at only seven inches deep. If you do choose to place a TV above a mantel, it should be mounted to the wall. However, do so cautiously as heat radiating from the fireplace could potentially cause damage to electronics.

If you want to enjoy your favorite movies from the comfort of your backyard or patio, you can mount a TV outside. You’ll want to be thoughtful about its location, ensuring it’s away from water and heat, like a grill or pool. Placing it under a roof, awning, or gazebo is usually a good idea as well for extra protection. Outdoor wiring does add an extra layer of complications with this project, so it may be worth it to hire an electrician to help.

While it can be done, hanging a TV on a brick wall without drilling requires thoughtful care. Conditions of the wall, the weight of the TV, any items below the TV, and more must be taken into account. To effectively mount the TV would require specific tools to install, such as TV stands, clamps, and strong adhesives.
