"Frank and Nick did an excellent job replacing a window, installing snow guards, and completed roof repairs to make the house weathertight for me. They showed up when they said, worked very efficiently and got everything done quickly. Pricing is very fair and quality workmanship. I have used F.B.I. a couple times now and know I will use them for future projects."

"I hired Anywhere Audio & More to mount a new TV at our home. They did an amazing job professionally mounting our 65 TV above our fireplace and hiding our cable box and cables behind the TV. They were extremely professional and friendly. They even happily ran out to get parts for us in order to accommodate our mounting preferences. I would recommend them to anyone!"

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

The cost to have a TV professionally mounted typically ranges from $160 to $360, with a national average of about $260. This price is for labor and does not include the TV mount itself. Several factors can affect the final cost, including the size of the TV and the type of mount used; for example, a fireplace mount costs more than an under-cabinet one. If you want to hide the wires within the wall, the price can increase significantly, potentially to $1,000 or more. For an accurate estimate, it is best to contact a local TV mounting service.

While it can be done, hanging a TV on a brick wall without drilling requires thoughtful care. Conditions of the wall, the weight of the TV, any items below the TV, and more must be taken into account. To effectively mount the TV would require specific tools to install, such as TV stands, clamps, and strong adhesives.

Yes, you can mount a TV on a brick wall as a DIY project. This process requires specific tools, such as a masonry drill and masonry bits, as a regular power drill is not sufficient for drilling into dense surfaces like brick. You will need to drill mounting holes directly into the bricks, not the mortar, to ensure there is enough support for the weight of the TV and its bracket. After drilling, use large plastic wall anchors or concrete screws to securely attach the TV mount.

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.
