"Jacob arrived at my property right on time. He went over everything that was going to happen with me and made sure I fully understand it all. He cut down all of the trees I needed down WAY faster than I thought he would. He was BEYOND respectful and responsible. When I tell you Iâ d NEVER depend on ANYONE else but him, I mean it. He makes you feel like family and truly seems like he LOVES his job. He bent over backwards to make sure I fell inlove with my property. I donâ t recommend ANYONE else!!!!"

"Stuart and his crew did a great job removing 5 trees in the 125-150 feet tall range. These trees were within 50 feet of our house. Rice Tree Service did an outstanding job as they maneuvered between our house and electric wires. They left our property in great condition The price was highly competitive! We highly recommend Rice Tree Service."

"A large tree fall across my driveway and on top of my car in a snowstorm. The owner came out to give me an estimate on tree removal the same day that I called, and the crew was there first thing the next morning. They were very quick and very professional. When my auto insurance company refused to cover the cost of the tree removal, the owner went to bat for me and got them to cover it. I highly recommend this tree service!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

If you’re taking down a tree that you don’t suspect is affected by disease or pests and it’s nowhere near your home or other structures, then calling in a tree company should work fine. However, anything more involved means an arborist is a better option. These pros have years of experience with tree removal and can safely take down trees located next to structures, and they have the tools, sanitization equipment, and experience to remove sick or dying trees without infecting nearby trees.

Peach trees don’t tend to live as long as other types of trees and crops. They tend to last only about 12 years, and you shouldn’t expect to see a full peach harvest each of those years, either. Young peach trees need a few years to get established before they produce fruit, but you should have plenty of peaches for your pies and cobblers during their mature years, around years four through eight.

Planting a palm tree close to your home can provide shade while elevating the beauty of your yard. However, there are a few safety concerns to consider before doing so. You’ll want to opt for a smaller tree with a non-invasive root system. Select a species that won’t grow too tall and choose a planting location that won’t damage your home.

Service costs depend on several factors, including the system's age, type, and size, as well as the complexity of the repair. Labor costs and whether replacement parts are necessary also play a significant role.

Ideally, you should wait to prune until trees have gone dormant in late fall to early winter. The worst times to prune trees are early fall and late summer, as pruning them so close to dormancy makes it difficult for the tree recover before it goes dormant for the season.
