"It went really well. Finding a solid spot to attach grab bars through a fiberglass shower enclosure is tricky because of the gap between the fiberglass and the studs. Chris found a kit from Moen that made the installation look fantastic and super safe. I think he was unfamiliar with this kind of an installation before this project but he did his homework and we ended up with a really nice job. The installation looked very professional and Chris did a great job of clean up afterwards. I would definitely use him again."

Tile flooring is tough, moisture-resistant, cool, and scratch-proof. However, it’s more tricky to install and costs more than vinyl flooring. If you opt for vinyl, select tough luxury vinyl flooring; otherwise, canine claws could quickly damage the surface of standard, budget vinyl.

Ideally, you should remove tile before installing hardwood floors, but there are good reasons not to. Removing stubborn tile can be a labor-intensive job that adds days to the project. No, tiling over painted walls or wallpapered surfaces is generally not recommended. Textured surfaces and paints will affect the adhesive, possibly causing tiles to lift or fall off. Painted walls with a semi-gloss or high-gloss finish are particularly difficult for adding tiles. It’s wise to strip the paint first if you install the tiles to drywall, although it’s still best to opt for a cement backer board.
