    This is the second time we have used his service. Very appriciated that he offers this service. My mother and her husband recently moved from california to nebraska and they are older and could not move the stuff themselves and I have three young children so I was not much help. They took care of moving everything. They did a great job...were very professional...were nice and respectful. We had one item break but I dont even think it was their fault but they brought it to our attention right away. There were four of them doing the moving and it took just over 4 hours. This was very good time considering how much stuff my mother has. If I would have dont it my self well....there's no way I would have been able to do it myself. Thanks So Much Paup's Helping Hands. YOU MADE MY MOTHERS MOVE SO MUCH EASIER. I WILL RECOMEND YOU TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS HELP MOVING.

    The total experience was absolutely great. Initial phone contact professional, the estimator that came to our house was very nice polite and thorough. Fast response on the estimate. Actual cost was slightly less than estimate. Moving date everything went great. Since it was an in city move the charge was by the hour. The movers worked very quickly and efficiently. They would actually sprint back from the truck to get the next load. Well with cost.

    The moving men were great . The companies administration needs to work on their service. They were suppose to give me more thatn 24 hours notice as to when the moves would arrive. if I had not already flown to NE, having a bad feeling about them properly notfying me, then this move would not have happened. My mother is 82 and not equipted to deal with moving on her own. I was also promised a copy of the actual weight tickets and have not seen those as of yet from administration.

    They delivered the trailer on time to load it. They picked it up when we were finished. They said the truck would arrive in Wisconsin in 3-5 days. I called them and confirmed they were on schedule. I drove to Wisconsin and was waiting Friday morning but no trailer. I contacted ABF and they said there was heavy snow and the truck was tied up in New England and would have great difficulty getting through Chicago because of the snow. I asked how the trailer got all the way to New England and they responded that the trailer was still in Grand Island, Nebraska. They said the truck would be there the next day on Saturday. No trailer on Saturday. The local ABF started handling my requests for true information. ABF said the truck will be there on Monday but we needed to be back in Nebraska. The trailer finally showed up. Because we were not there, we had to make arrangements for friends to direct (room locations, etc.) the unloading of the truck. Dee from ABF finally admitted that we were not notified on the late arrival until after the fact, apologized, and gave me $150. My out of pocket costs for 4 wasted days was gas ($198.88), 8 meals ($187.20 including tips), and 2 days of net salary ($549.07). Because I am retiring, I would have been paid for every potential vacation day I did not take. I also was charged $60.00 by the group unloading the track. This group is an affiliate of ABF and I was earlier assured that ABF would handle communication with the unloaders. This totals $995.15. Now on Friday, I am going back to Wisconsin to finish what should have been done a month ago spending another $1000.00 I would not recommend them. The group that unloaded the truck, which was an affiliate of ABF, charged me $60 because the truck was late which was not my fault.

    Scottsbluff's branch of North American Van Lines was contracted to pack and move our belongings from Scottsbluff to Washington State (Washington's Allied Van Lines arranged for the driver). The local North American affiliate was contacted by the Washington movers to set up an estimate for packing our home and contents. It took three phone calls from Washington to finally get the Scottsbluff assessment crew to come to our home. They completed the assessment and reassured us that they could pack our home in 1 to 1.5 days. The assessment was performed in a haphazard way, lacking attention to detail. The Washington crew made the drivers' arrangements, and we made travel plans based on the assessment-- this occurred about 3 months before our move. We made several phone calls, concerned about the tight timeline, asking if we should allow an additional day for packing, but were assured by the movers that the assessment was accurate. Even two months before the move, my husband called again to verify the timeline, and was again reassured. On the day prior to the packers' arrival, we still had not been contacted by the local affiliate regarding what time to expect them. We contacted the Washington site, and even they struggled to reach the local North American affiliate. Finally, when they did make contact, the local affiliate staff said they would be on site to pack beginning at 10:00 am tomorrow, and that there was NO WAY they could have the work done in 1 or even 1.5 days. They would need at least TWO days to pack our home and belongings. Unfortunately, the additional day conflicted with the scheduled driver, as well as our travel plans. Despite multiple attempts to give them additional time allowances, they went against their original assessment...on the DAY BEFORE the planned move. They promised something and were unable to deliver on that promise. More than anything, we are disappointed in the lack of communication, inattention to detail, and lack of professionalism. The Washington folks experienced difficulty even reaching someone on the phone at the local North American affiliate. Phone calls always go to voice mail. Washington's Allied Van Lines more than made up for the blunder of the local affiliate, by offering to send packers and movers from Washington State to Nebraska to move us the following week, and assuring delivery within a reasonable time frame. They also reported the Scottsbluff affiliate to their corporate headquarters, recommending the Scottsbluff branch be shut down. I wholeheartedly agree.
