Our estimate was done timely and very thoroughly by a knowledgable and experienced estimator.. We asked them to do the work, but due to our own problems (doctors and hospital), the work had to wait. We were happy they could get the work done before cold weather. A full crew arrived with all tools and trash dumpster. They worked skillfully and diligently for two days, cleaned up and hauled off all the trash. The crew worked cooperatively on different areas of the house and were friendly and courteous. The chimney area needed special attention because it is flat and prone to leaks. It seems to be in good shape now though it has not been tested by driving rain. The office staff and manager were responsive and returned our phone calls quickly. Overall, it was a good experience. His secretary told me that he probably would not be able to get out until Monday. I told her I had two loads of wet clothes, that I got his name from Angie's list, and if he had a cancellation I would love to have that time. She said she would put me down for that afternoon, from 2-4, and if it didn't work he would call me. Imagine my surprise when she called me back within 15 minutes and told me that she had talked to Abraham and he would be at the house within the half hour. And he was. After deciding not to go with the repair we purchased a new dryer, and look forward to having him repair it when the warranty is up. He did not make any charge for the \"visit.\""},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ca/san-diego/9-1-1-appliance-repair-reviews-169798.htm"},"position":4},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Brown Roofing & Construction","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"ND","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"JUDI C."},"reviewBody":"Jim, Andy, and their crew arrived the day they said they would. I gave Jim a check for half of the amount of the roofing, even though I offered to pay the entire amount then. He said he wanted to wait until the job was done. The crew was friendly; played with our Golden Retriever, and then got to work. I was told it would probably take 4 1/2 days and it did. They did everything that is mentioned above, including cleaning up each day. It is interesting to note that it has rained twice since the roof was put on and there is no leak anywhere. Because this is a flat roof - over an added room - we were uncertain about the leakage. Not only is everything dry, it is much quieter when we walk on the roof. (With the previous roof it always sounded like a herd of elephants were dancing on the roof - which is our access to the attic.)"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ca/encinitas/brown-roofing-and-construction-reviews-419358.htm"},"position":5}]}

Safelite was the only company I was able to find who was able to repair a chip as big as the one I had. Because they could repair it my insurance company covered the full repair with no deductible. All of the other autoglass places immediately wanted to replace it.

I asked for a floor drain in the garage. That was not put in. A concrete slab was installed between the house and garage not the size I said I wanted and not trawled before it set. Concrete was splashed onto the house staining the siding and door that they will not fix so I have to do it. ...

FAQs for basement leak repair projects in Grafton, ND
The cost to finish a basement is $18,400 for the average homeowner. However, this cost could be as little as $2,800 or as much as $34,500, depending on the basement size and the materials needed. If your basement is already outfitted with electrical and plumbing, expect the cost to fall on the lower end.
For example, the drywall cost for this project averages around $1,750, but other features, like hiring a plumber, cost between $45 and $200 per hour.
The cost to remodel a basement is between $12,100 and $33,400 for the average homeowner. The price you pay can be as little as $3,500 or as much as $50,200, depending on the size and condition of your basement and the type of remodel you're doing.
If you're doing a simple project like adding a home office to your basement, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 to $3,000. However, if you're adding a bathroom, which is an extensive project, you can expect to pay between $6,600 to $16,500.
Damp proofing and waterproofing are both methods to help keep your basement dry. Damp proofing keeps soil moisture from entering your basement, which is helpful since your basement is underground. Waterproofing, however, keeps both soil moisture and liquid water out of the basement, which is essential, especially if you live in a wet environment. Because it’s more protective, waterproofing typically costs more than damp proofing.
Although homeowners often use the terms basement remodeling and basement finishing interchangeably, they are quite different terms.
Finishing a basement is the process of taking a basement space that is not habitable and adding elements to make it usable. This includes adding plumbing, flooring, and insulation.
Remodeling a basement means taking an already existing finished basement and changing it, often by adding or removing walls, adding plumbing, or changing the existing flooring.
The cost of basement waterproofing is $4,950 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying between $600 and $14,000, depending on factors like basement size, waterproofing method, and the region you live in.
If you live in an area with heavy rainfall, you might be paying more for waterproofing than if you lived somewhere drier since waterproofing contractors would be in high demand. Likewise, a 500-foot basement costs between $2,500and $5,000 to waterproof, but that price rises significantly for a larger basement.
