"Atunez privided a quote within 1 business day and the cabinets were installed a week later. The quality of work is excellent. We live in a 100 year old converted loft condo with sloped floors. He leveled the cabinets perfectly. Thank you so much."

"Fast service, came same day. He was extremely courteous and showed us the problem. Checked the whole system after repair made to be sure it was working properly. Fair price, especially for same day service. Highly recommended!!"

Small jobs welcome

"I had the most wonderful experience working with Celio and his team at Gomez Tile & Flooring. He went above and beyond ensure excellent quality of work and communication amongst him and his team was seamless. They worked long days to finish tile in my kitchen, dining room, a hallway, and two bathroom in about 4 days time and less than two weeks from our initial walk through. Celio also knew that i was renovating the rest of the house and even went as far as to help clear away a truckload of debris still sitting outside from projects i was doing the week before they started working. I?ve only known him a short time, but Celio has proven to be kind, hard-working, extremely skilled and professional, and I look forward to completing future projects with him and his fantastic team. Thank you so much Celio! I wish I could give you 100 stars! ??"

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

In a kitchen installation, starting with the foundation and structural elements before moving on to the finishing touches is essential. Framing, plumbing, and utilities should go first, followed by cabinetry and countertops, then plumbing fixtures and new appliances. Flooring, paint, tile backsplashes, and similar finishing touches should get installed last.

It is typically cheaper to buy stock or semi-custom cabinets than to build custom ones. The price difference is significant:

  • Custom Cabinets: Cost between $500 and $1,200 per linear foot. This price is affected by materials, size, design complexity, and door styles. For instance, a simple slab door's materials might cost $60-$70, while a decorative mullioned glass door could be $100-$200.

  • Semi-Custom Cabinets: Cost between $150 and $700 per linear foot.

  • Stock Cabinets: Cost between $100 and $400 per linear foot.

While buying pre-built cabinets is more cost-effective, building custom cabinets allows for full modification to fit unique spaces, such as rooms with high ceilings or unusual layouts, which stock options cannot accommodate.

If your walls aren’t plumb, it can make installing frameless cabinets difficult because they require precise measurements so they don’t show imperfections. Any dissymmetry with installation can cause the doors and drawers to not function correctly. Frameless cabinets are also thicker and heavier, making them harder to install by yourself.

Installation typically takes 2-3 days, depending on the kitchen size and preparation needed.

Yes, you can replace the cabinet hardware after installation to change up the look of your cabinets. Replacing the hinges, handles, pulls, and knobs allows you the design flexibility to match your other appliances or finish schemes to your liking. Talk with your kitchen designer or cabinet installer about the best hardware option for your cabinets.
