We are proud to provide a service that no other company offers; Dedicated Trucks. This means that your belongings are loaded on the truck and not combined with anyone else’s items (from/to west coast only). They are not transferred to other trucks or facilities in route which causes damage and loss of items (typical with van lines). We have a set loading day and unloading day. This is by far the safest way to ship. Our interstate rates are per 24ft moving van that holds up to 8,500lbs or 1400CuFt. Some customers require one truck and some require more. One truck holds the average 1800SqFt.

If you don’t have dividers, wrap each wine glass individually using bubble wrap or packing paper to cushion both the bowl and delicate stem. It is certainly possible to move a piano without hiring movers, but it’s not recommended. Not only will you need at least four people to lift and maneuver the piano, but getting it around tight corners and down flights of stairs might not be possible without the help of movers. Plus, pianos are exceptionally heavy and bulky, which means you and any helping hands are at risk of injury, as well as an increased risk of damaging your piano. Ultimately, it’s always worth it to call in a professional piano mover.

It’s important to never lay a flat-screen TV on its side when moving. Weight can damage the fragile screen, and falling objects are a risk. Always place your TV upright between other large flat objects so it isn’t crushed when the load shifts on a turn. Use moving blankets to pad the space between the objects.

You should transfer utilities at least two weeks before your final move-out date. It is best to schedule the turning off of all utilities 24 hours after your move. Doing so will ensure a smooth transition without any gaps in service while you are still living in the home.

If you’re using a moving company, the best move in date typically occurs on a weekday in the middle of the month between September and April. Mid-month moves on weekdays are less popular and therefore less costly, and the weather will usually be less severe in the fall or spring. However, if staying on budget is your priority, a mid-month move on a weekday in the winter is your best bet at finding the best deal.
