"I am very satisfied with the job that they did to my townhouse. They removed about 700 square feet of asbestos popcorn ceiling from the upstairs of my house. They did a very conscientious and careful job. I cannot thank them enough for their IMMACULATE cleanup. Not a speck of popcorn dust to be found anywhere. They were very respectful of my home and my belongings. And to top it off, they are incredibly punctual. The price was very fair in comparison with other companies. In my search for estimates from other asbestos removal companies, it seems to me that other companies are middle men and charge a premium for their middle men services. In contrast, I believe that this company does its own asbestos work, and I can't express enough how much I appreciate that and the savings in cost. I will definitely hire them again for my next project."

"Be sure to specify the height of your ceilings. They did not come prepared with a ladder so they could check the cathedral ceilings in our living area which is what we were most concerned about when we hired them. We "made do" with checking other places in the house and fortunately no asbestos!! So it was worth the price to have that knowledge. They were on time and very professional."

Asbestos Removal questions, answered by experts

Asbestos itself does not typically leak from a roof. However, if an asbestos-containing roof is damaged or deteriorated, it can release asbestos fibers into the air. This can occur when the roof is disturbed, such as during maintenance or repairs, or due to weathering over time. Exposure to airborne asbestos fibers can be harmful to health, so it is important to address any damaged asbestos roofs promptly and safely.

Asbestos has many beneficial properties, including fire resistance, strength, and chemical resistance. It is also an excellent insulator, which is why it was used in pipe insulation and other building materials for decades. For all its benefits, asbestos is dangerous for human health, which is why it was eventually banned from use in certain products.

Power washing asbestos siding can be hazardous and isn't recommended. The power washer's high pressure can disturb the siding and release harmful asbestos fibers into the air. Rather than attempting to DIY it, hire a professional trained in asbestos handling to tackle any exterior cleaning.

Asbestos encapsulation is an alternative to asbestos abatement or removal. Suppose you have hired an asbestos testing service and they recommend encapsulation. In that case, they will cover the asbestos with a protective barrier or put it in a sealed enclosure so the fibers cannot escape. Encapsulation usually costs between $2 and $6 per square foot.

By using PPE, sealing work areas, and following containment procedures.
