When you suffer from a fire or from serious water damage, it can be frustrating and overwhelming. Once 911 has been called, there are so many other things to think about. You will probably ask yourself, “What type of restoration company should I call? What exactly needs to be done? Why a restoration or mitigation company. Well- a few reasons. When your home has no power or it’s completely under 3 or 4 feet of water with the possibility of getting electrocuted or worse. It’s the fact that we can work anywhere at any time because eight times out of 10 we are prepared for a disaster that’s what we do. Some guys like me I’ve been doing it for over 10 years. You should look up the company IICRC- now what that is is the standards of cleaning mitigation and restoration. If it’s worth it they will send you to school to learn all these necessary skills and certificates. I have many. Water specialist- commercial drying specialist. Content cleaning specialist- an applied structure drying- to dry the bones of the house. From their biohazard and or crime scene and trauma. I have hoarding and unsafe homes cleanups. If it needs to be cleaned- fixed and as CLOSE to as it was prior to the loss. I will also help you navigate through the insurance loopholes and most times I can deal with them on my own. My whole slogan is “we go crazy so you don’t have to” Chances are you have children or worked all day and the last thing you want to do is a big cleaning for a spring or ahead and clean. Or mold inspections or there might be some humidity in house we have to try it out and we have the equipment for it. There’s nothing we can’t do.

Drapery cleaning services FAQs

You can usually hire a drape cleaning service, a general cleaning service, or, in some cases, a professional dry cleaner to clean your drapes. These professionals will have the experience necessary to deep clean your drapes and curtains without damaging the material. A drape and curtain cleaning specialist is your best bet, as they will have the right experience, tools, and professional cleaning solutions at their disposal for the best results possible.

In some cases, it’s possible to clean your drapes yourself, but usually only if you can machine-wash the drapes. You can check the “how to wash” tag on the drapes for instructions. If the tag is missing or if the material is dry-clean only, we recommend leaving the work to a professional drape cleaner. Performing the wrong type of cleaning or using the wrong cleaning solutions on sensitive materials can destroy your drapes. A professional drapery cleaner will apply the correct solutions for safe, deep cleaning.

The average cost for drape cleaning services is around $100 per drape set, with most homeowners paying between $75 and $150. The price you can expect to pay depends on the size of the drapes or curtains, the material, and the number of sets. One cost-saving method is to hire a professional drapery cleaner to refresh multiple sets in one service. Drapes that are dry-clean-only will likely cost a bit more, as the cleaning process is more involved and might require your professional to remove them from your home, clean them off-site, and then reinstall them later.

You should dry clean your drapes twice per year: once in the spring and once in the fall. Cleaning drapes in the spring will remove dust, pet hair, pet dander, and other contaminants that build up during the winter, and cleaning them again in the fall will remove pollen and other outside contaminants that accumulate in your drapes in the spring and summer. You should consider cleaning your drapes three or four times per year if you have a lot of pets or if someone in your household has severe allergies.

Drape cleaning can be an expensive process, but it’s very often worth the investment. A professional drapery cleaner will remove odors stuck in the fabric from cooking, painting, exercising, and pets. The deep cleaning process will also remove allergens like dust, pollen, and pet dander. Ultimately, drape cleaning can help your home look and smell fresh, and maintain a healthy indoor air quality. Paying a professional for drape cleaning is worthwhile because it guarantees your cleaning solution won’t damage the material and necessitates a replacement.
