"After another concrete contractor with many reviews did not schedule our job (twice) after giving me an estimate, I called Innovation Landscaping and Concrete. From the initial phone call to the completion of the work, this company is fabulous! Roberto, who answered my call, was very polite and was able to give a "ballpark" estimate over the phone for the size of patio. We agreed to schedule a visit for an actual estimate and they arrived on time. They were very thorough is discussing the job and were attentive to the work we wanted completed. The job required two appointments and on both days the crew arrived as stated. Roberto even called a few days prior to the first work appointment to confirm they would be out to do the work. The preparation work was great. They were attentive to the surrounding areas and formed the patio area just how we wanted it. On the day of the pour, they did final preparations for the concrete, and when the concrete truck arrived, it was amazing to watch the crew jump into action. It was easy to notice Carlos, Roberto and the other crew members are experts in working with concrete and were very orchestrated in how they put down the patio. The patio finish came out amazing! "'B-/C+' is the real grading. He manages several non-English speaking crews and so the quality of varies and no recourse with the people performing the work. The jobs looks good from afar, but the details are lacking. Many houses here are built with a "carpenter's gap" (google it). The workers did not mention this to me or to James Taylor, the consequence is my roof continues to let in vermin and this is now much more expensive to fix (I offered to pay the difference to fix this, never heard back). The workers also slid down the shingles and there is shingle wear where they slid down on their butts. The roof is functioning correctly, although we have sealed a several popped nails. The siding install was just the siding, the quote apparently did not include painting/sealing where the trim butts up against the siding ( I was told this is standard practice, so now I have to get up on a ladder and paint this myself). I was glad house wrap was included, but the work was carelessly cut and not according to Tyvek's overlap specification nor fastening (see picture. Manufacturer specification specifies a 6" overlap (red dots) and washered fasteners). Billing was clear enough. Email/phone response times long."
