"I recently had the pleasure of working with Mr. Green when he & his team painted our half bathroom and one full bathroom. I originally contacted him to just paint the bathrooms, but Mr. Green ended up doing more than just painting: he removed the texture from the ceilings in both bathrooms, raised the ceilings in both bathrooms, sanded the walls, patched holes in the walls and painted the ceilings & walls. Mr. Green was always quick to respond to my e-mails and phone calls, and he & his team were always on time and very professional. Moreover, they were able to work with our schedule, which was incredibly helpful. I plan on using them again soon!"

"Very thorough and very pleased. They replaced facia that had been damaged by local critters, I then went on to have them replace my gutters and install leaf guard. They coordinated all of their work with my painters and installed the new gutters very professionally. After installation, the job site was cleaned up."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

A tripped circuit breaker, broken pull chain, faulty wiring, or a bad motor or capacitor are all common causes for a fan to stop working.

It is unlikely that a ceiling fan will fall, even if it develops a wobble. During a proper installation, ceiling fans are securely bolted to a ceiling joist, and the fasteners used for mounting are generally separate from the components related to balancing. A wobble is typically caused by an imbalance, which can be annoying and may lead to other issues, but is not usually dangerous on its own.

However, if a fan is wobbling because it was not installed correctly, it could be at risk of falling. For safety, it's always a good idea to ensure all mounting screws are tight and to address any wobbling or imbalance issues promptly.

Wood stove fans are designed to operate quietly, emitting only a subtle hum from their motor. This low noise level ensures minimal disruption in your living space, allowing you to enjoy the warmth without distraction. The fan blades, which are engineered for efficient air circulation, contribute to the overall quiet operation. This makes wood stove fans a practical choice for maintaining a peaceful environment while effectively distributing heat throughout your room or home.

While ceiling fans shouldn’t get loose over time, they still can—especially if they’re installed incorrectly. A wobbling or tilted ceiling fan can shift the screws out of place, causing it to loosen and become a fall risk. It’s important to tighten screws and balance blades as soon as you notice that they’re misaligned or uneven to prevent the ceiling fan from loosening further and becoming a hazard.

Duct fans in HVAC systems last an average of 15 to 20 years. Because these fans operate in relatively controlled environments, they can maintain their efficiency for a long period of time. To maximize the lifespan of your duct booster fan, have your HVAC system maintained regularly.
