"The work was done in less than a week. Everything was left very clean at the end of each day. We were very happy about the job that was done. I called Re-Bath about a leak we had from that bathroom on Monday, Robert from the company came out today and checked everything out and determined that it was a pipe leak. Although this was not a problem with the Re-Bath products or installation, he was very friendly and very helpful with guiding me on what to do next. I am very impressed with this company's customer service!"

"After not getting reasonable quotes from another company, we called Julian and he came over to look at our bathroom within a week. He thoroughly explained why we needed a different set up than what we initially planned and undercut the competition by $1500 in labor costs. He was very flexible with our schedule and our preferences. We purchased some of the material because we preferred to, but what we were unsure of or couldn't pick up, Julian took care of. He is such a friendly guy and works very hard to get the project done efficiently while simultaneously delivering quality. Julian is an experienced handyman in all areas of the house, but we used him specifically for our master bathroom. We could not be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you so much, we will be calling you in the future for a few more projects!"

"Mr. Cash (Randy) was prompt on getting here. I actually got same day service when I called, he was aready working in my area. He showed me my problem, which I already knew and he left and went and got me garbage disposal and installed me and gave me some very helpful hints on dishwasher and my disposal. I felt very comfortable with him and would definately recommed him. The other handyman/plummer that I called on Craigs list said that they would call me back with estimated estimate and I have yet to hear from them. If you need anything in the repair line I would call Mr. Cash.

"The entire process went very well. The technician arrived at the beginning of the time slot and even called prior to arrival to provide an even more accurate arrival time. The first project was the instillation of the thermostats which went smoothly. The second project was to do maintenance and up keep of the air conditioner units themselves. According to the technician the air conditioners had never been serviced since their installation in 1988. He got everything cleaned up and there was no maintenance issues to deal with. He then took the time to go over programmable thermostat.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Due to the exposed plumbing, pedestal sinks are more challenging to install than traditional closed vanities. Pedestal sinks may also require additional floor and wall support or demolition. However, if you have the correct plumbing in place, then installing a pedestal sink is pretty straightforward and can be completed in a day. However, it’s best to hire a professional sink installer to ensure it’s done correctly.

Yes, you can usually replace a sink without replacing the vanity. It really depends on the type of vanity and the type of sink. You’ll need to make sure you purchase a sink that will fit in the existing space. This requires precise measurements. You’ll also have to carefully remove your old sink, making sure you don’t damage the countertop during the replacement.

The standard kitchen sink size is typically 22 inches by 30 inches. However, kitchen sinks are available in a wide range of sizes to fit different kitchens, commonly from 25 to 39 inches long, though you can find even larger or custom sizes. When choosing a replacement, the easiest option is to select a sink that matches your existing one's dimensions. If you decide to install a larger sink, you will need to enlarge the cutout in your countertop; be sure to use the template that comes with the new sink to ensure a proper fit. Installing a smaller sink can be more complex, as it may require replacing the entire countertop.

On average, it takes four to eight hours to install a pedestal sink. However, several factors will influence how much time it takes to install a pedestal sink, including:

  • A replacement will take longer to put in than a new install

  • The size and weight of the pedestal sink—a pro may need an apprentice for help

  • It will take longer to change the sink type vs. replacing the pedestal with a duplicate

There are few things more annoying than trying to fall asleep only to be woken up by the sound of a dripping faucet. If the faucet drips when the water is off, it probably has a loose or damaged seat washer. The screw gets loose from repeated use, making the faucet drip. With outdoor faucets, this is more common in the summer when people are using it more often to water the garden or cool off. Disassembling the faucet and tightening or replacing the seat washer and screw can get the dripping to stop.
