"As a result of an emergency plumbing service, we found there was a problem with our septic tank. Bumgarner's had pumped it in March, 2015. When they came over (on time, within only a few hours of being called), they figured out in a matter of minutes what the problem was.  It turns out the filter on the exit side of the septic tank was clogged.  They apologized profusely, cleaned everything up, and were on their way.  There was no charge since they were confident their driver did not know about the filter when he pumped it out in March (apparently not all septic tanks have these... which means the type of problem we had could have been a lot worse if all that solid material had gone into the actual weeping bed).
I know nothing about septic tanks (I know a lot more now that this  happened...) so they could have easily charged me for the service visit.  However, they were very  honest, and as a result, have a loyal customer and strong word of mouth advertising.
