"He and his team were personable polite and he was clearly very skilled Fixed all the problems with a 80+ double chimney that had been deferred maintenance when we bought the house. So pleased with his work that we had him go do some repairs on my mother’s brick porch. He is also a good communicator and gives great customer service. Would definitely recommend and use again"

"He let me know that the chimney didn't need to be cleaned and also let me know how much Chimney cap and insert would cost. He told me both fireplaces were working and ready to burn wood."

"They did a great job from the salesman to the roofers. Everything the salesman told me (and he went thru everything that would be done, step by step) was done from the materials being dropped off the day before to the clean up after the roof was done. I hope I don.t ever need it but the 50 year / unlimited wind guarantee isnice and it's even transferable if i ever want to move"

We got estimates from 3 different company's for roof replacement, Atlantic coastal Enterprises explained everything too us after looking at roof and gave us an estimate the same day, they even waited around for me to get off to let me see everything myself since my husband was only one home. The other 2 company's looked at my roof and left and took over a week to email me our estimate. I thought the price was pretty steep from Atlantic Coastal Enterprises, until I received the other 2 estimates, they were cheaper for replacement but did not included everything, one estimate said "If it is deemed necessary to replace any wood to complete roof any additional charges will be added to the final bill" they also didn't include disposal cost and they only had a 5yr workman ship warranty. I knew we had wood damage and when Atlantic Coastal Enterprises took shingles off there was a lot of damage to the wood, they took before and after pictures for me, and everything was included in the price, even a lifetime warranty on shingles and 10yr workmanship warranty. They got the job done in just 3days, they were very professional, knowledgeable and kind my roof looks amazing and I am excited to see how much I save on electricity now.

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

No, range hoods do not necessarily have to be vented outside. Ductless or non-vented range hoods are available, which are common in condos or small kitchens where connecting to external ductwork isn't feasible. These hoods operate by taking in air, filtering it through charcoal filters to help eliminate smoke and odors, and then recirculating the cleaned air back into the kitchen. However, while these recirculating hoods are more versatile, venting to the outside is still the preferred and more effective method for completely removing smoke, odors, and gases from the room.

Most residential range hoods have a CFM between 200 and 600. A higher CFM means your range hood is better at removing smoke and odors from your kitchen. The measurement ultimately depends on your stove’s width and heat output as well as the size of your kitchen.

Compared to the average size of a stove and kitchen, 350 CFM would be the minimum recommended rating for the average kitchen. However, selecting a higher CFM range hood would guarantee better ventilation to match your cooking habits, whether they’re minimal or extensive.

By positioning ductwork for optimal airflow and reducing potential leaks.

A range hood is an exhaust fan for your kitchen, and several types and styles exist. They are meant to remove grease, moisture, and fumes from your stove. Although some models filter and recirculate the air, the most effective ones remove the air through a duct that’s vented to the outdoors.

Yes, professionals can often retrofit models with minimal disruption.
