"Jimmie and his crew were very professional. He explained in details the process of removal of old insulation and laying of new vapor barrier in our crawlspace. They left the area spotless and removed all debris. Highly recommended this company. Small family and Veteran owned company."

Small jobs welcome

"A water pipe burst and flooded my entire downstairs overnight. C and Z came in with multiple fans, dryers, and dehumidifying equipment to dry out the floors and walls. They then fumigated the area to prevent mold and mildew. They also cleaned and or replaced the air ducts in my crawl space under the house. Corey was very professional and respectful. He kept me informed with status update reports as work progressed. I would definitely recommend C and Z for your emergency service or mold removal/prevention related projects."

"Charles was awesome all around!! Came out for an inspection, advised me of issues and the route I should take. We followed through and couldn’t be happier with the results, and how easy the process was. We got a full encapsulation with a dehumidifier and the difference in the air is amazing. Highly recommend if you are thinking about getting your crawlspace encapsulated!"

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

Professionals suggest through ventilation, source removal, or filtration systems.

Mold can be hazardous to your health. Some people are allergic to mold and experience a reaction when exposed to mold spores. The reaction varies from person-to-person, but can include a runny nose, skin irritation, and asthma attack. Mold can also be irritating to people who aren't allergic, causing respiratory, skin, and eye irritation. In some cases, mold exposure can lead to infections.

Areas of your home may provide an ideal environment for green or black mold. Most molds love moisture and will thrive in wet or damp areas. Some types of mold, such as Stachybotrys chartarum, grow well on materials commonly used in homes, such as gypsum board and wood. Mold may also grow in areas where there are leaks, such as in bathrooms, kitchens, or basements.

Turn off the water main immediately. Hire a professional plumber to check on your pipes and make any replacements so you avoid water damage. You don’t want to take any risks with flooding, so it’s best to consult a professional plumber as quickly as possible.

Not necessarily. If the mold is only on the surface or in small areas, you may be able to clean it effectively without removing all the caulk. However, if the mold has deeply penetrated the caulk or the caulk is damaged or deteriorating, you should remove the caulk completely and replace it to ensure thorough mold removal and prevent future growth.
