"These guys came out to replace and repair a portion of my driveway. The work was second to none, very personable and knowledgeable. Jesse and his crew run a tight operation. Jesse is a stand up guy, the job was small and he was in my neighborhood already paving a cul-de-sac and had some left over asphalt. He refused to take my money and told me to take what the job wouldâ ve paid and help someone out in need. The world needs more ppl like this guyâ ¦.."

"Adam and his team did a wonderful job! They had the regrading and patio done in less then a week and were able to help us within a few weeks of us getting in touch with them. We are really happy with the end product and our lawn is now no longer a swamp every time it rains! Would use their services again for future needs in a heartbeat!"

Customers say: Quality work

"What a great experience! The owner was on site during the complete project. He keep us informed on every aspect of the project even during the 3 day rain delay. They were paid attention to every little edge and detail in our parking lot. During the bid meeting, their sale lady listened to what we wanted. Then she pointed out less expensive ways to improve it, which other asphalt people did not. They also took time to educate us on sealcoat materials and paint for striping. And the importance to adding material to the sealcoat and laying the strip paint heavy. Their price wasn't high but it wasn't cheap either. After doing research on the information they shared, we know the quality and value was right on with the price. Thank you for the great job on our parking lot."

"Jose did a great job with our project. He was quick to respond to my request, coming out on the same day to provide a quote. We have a fairly large yard (+1 acre) and work spanned multiple days. Work was performed as communicated and hedge trimmings were bagged without disturbing our mulch and hauled off after he was complete. Will be using his services again and recommend."

"Bill and his team were so quick, informative, hard working and incredibly polite. I chose to work from home during several of the days and Bill was so great about keeping me informed throughout each step of the process and ensuring I was happy with the work. They also went above and beyond with drainage by pivoting mid-project to incorporate leaving our vents in place (originally we were going to cover them) and building extra drainage underneath the patio. As a first time homeowner I felt like he had my best interests at heart, and I feel very confident that this was a great long term investment. In addition to the patio, they installed drainage, removed several layers of old concrete, built in uplighting and stair lighting, removed and rebuilt a section of our fence, and reseeded our lawn"

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

One advantage of selecting a resin bound driveway over concrete or asphalt is that homeowners have a variety of colors to choose from. Manufacturers customize aggregate materials, so customers can choose browns, golds, greens, blues, reds, and blacks. Some manufacturers also offer metallic shades.

Outdoor kitchens get wet and are sometimes next to pools. To avoid accidents, go with a non-slip material like concrete, brick, or rubber. Avoid materials like ceramic and porcelain, as they are known to be quite slippery. Wood and composite flooring can be slippery if untreated, so make sure to stain or finish these materials.

You can pour concrete over asphalt if it’s in good condition, thick, stable, and well-compacted. Concrete is more durable than asphalt and can extend the lifetime of your driveway without having to pay frequent asphalt driveway repair costs or replace it completely.

But this is best reserved as a temporary solution based on budget restraints, as asphalt requires more frequent repairs and assessments than concrete. Once that concrete top is poured, it’ll be harder to accurately understand what’s happening beneath that layer, which could lead to more issues.

Yes, hardscaping is generally a great investment that can increase your home's value. Hardscape features improve your yard's functionality, safety, and aesthetics, which boosts curb appeal and overall property value. According to a survey by the National Association of Realtors and the National Association of Landscape Professionals, hardscape upgrades are one of the top four outdoor projects that add value to a property for resale, along with landscape upgrades, landscape management, and lawn care services. While most buyers see value in these features, some may be concerned about potential increases in property taxes or the cost to alter them later. However, the return on investment is typically excellent. For best results, hardscaping should be combined with professional landscaping, and it's wise to hire a reliable contractor for installation.

In most cases, you don’t need a permit to repave your driveway, although some exceptions exist. If you’re widening your driveway and plan on widening the apron as well, you’ll usually need a permit from the Department of Transportation in your area. This permit costs between $50 and $300 in most cases. Most municipalities will also require a certified and insured contractor do the work relating to the apron and curb cut. You can contact your building department or ask your paving company if you need a permit. Your driveway professional will usually pull the permit for you.
