Still in progress but going great!

Had them come out and re-pave and add on to my existing driveway. I asked if it would be so the water would run down drive to street was told yes. It isn't by my carport and when it rains water runs onto it. Never had that problem. Now there is 2 channels in front of my carport that channels water to my sidewalk. Fills it up. I've called 1 time and texted 2x trying to get this repaired. He is always apologetic and says he'll get it fixed. This has been going on since October 2020. Last text he asked the address because he had forgotten. So now I guess I am stuck trying to figure out how to get the problem solved with the water running on carport and sidewalk. I have sent him a video and pictures. The first time they came out and took old one up and graded then left for a couple of weeks leaving a huge gap at my gate where my dogs are kept during the day. Had to rig that up so they wouldn't crawl underneath. Finally had to text and ask when he was coming back only after he had text because he left a sprayer at my house. I shouldn't have to keep calling the first time that should have been a sign. Lesson learned.

My experience with O’Neil paving was absolutely outstanding. Pricing was very competitive and work performed was excellent. It was truly one of the most pleasant experiences in the entire build of my house. Thanks Tom for a job well done.

O’Neals was the only company that responded to my request but I thought the price was fair with out getting other bids. They are a family owned business that takes pride in their work. The company provides a one year warranty on their work.

O'Neil's paving is a top notch company. From initial contact to the completion of service, we were given exceptional customer service and quality workmanship. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are a pleasure to do business with and you will be in great hands.

The O'Neal brothers did an excellent job on my driveway and expanded it a few feet just the way I wanted. Very very happy with the great job they did!

they did the work, but communication with company wasn't good

They did a good job, but their follow-up for sealing up of the driveway was an F. They subbed it out to somebody that I eventually did not use because their preparation was poor. After it has cured they were going to seal it to keep stains and to reinforce it. They kept pushing the date off. After 7 weeks of it not being sealed they gave the contract to somebody else who when they came out to clean the driveway and prep it did a really bad job and I wouldn’t let them seal it. The follow-up for O’Neil’s was terrible. Tom O’Neil was very good about working with me on the date however, the follow-on service was poor. When they came out to do the work there must have been about 7 people. They had a full crew. It took them 2 days to do it. They tore up the old driveway, prepped and then put in the new driveway. They did a very good job of clean up. I checked them out last year based on Angie’s reviews and then they worked from Indy because I had to had have other landscaping and I was having other projects that needed done so they worked with me on the date. Putting in the driveway was great, but after they got the check that was a different story. Follow-on is the time to cross the t’s and dot the I’s, and it wasn’t good. The company that was going to seal it was one of their sub; a company they work with. The two guys they sent out they were using a high-pressure washer that was damaging the new driveway and I stopped them. They didn’t know what they were doing. I called another company and they came out and they cleaned the driveway. Come to find out they did sealing so I had them seal the driveway two days later.

His work was a case of good and bad. I think Tom has 3 different crews working for him: tear out crew, a pour/finish crew and a clean up crew. The good: his pouring and finishing crew was great. the slab was poured perfect and finished amazingly great. Superior work. The other two crews were bad. His tear out crew chipped the garage floor when they tore out the driveway. They also destroyed the sprinkler line and control wire under the driveway. They stated it "was too high" to be avoided. For an upcharge, he put another pipe under the slab....then placed it higher than where the original one was placed. He did not repair it and threw the old pipe and wire in the bushes (see picture). These 2 crews left a mess so it was up to the clean up crew to fix the mess. Unfortunately, there is no clean up crew. After 10 days, I called Tom about cleaning up the mess....the piping, the trenches along the driveway, etc. (see picture). He stated that he normally didn't do that but would come out and shove some dirt in them to make me happy. He took the piping, shoved a little dirt in one side of the driveway but left the other side open, left the excess pile of concrete in the garden bed and did nothing for the damage. I like the finish of the driveway but have already spent 3 days fixing the damages and cleaning up.

he showed and finished in one day but left rough spots in the driveway. The driveway has un-level spots where water stands when it rains. It also spots where the grass grows through it. He made one attempt to fix it after multiple calls and the ruff spots are still there along with the uneven areas that hold water.

Excellent. Tom worked around my schedule, and the weather. They will be sealing the driveway soon. Hard working, professional crew.

Completed in two days, one for tear-out and one to replace the concrete. All workers on both teams were cordial and hard workers. They were all experienced on this type project. Tom O'Neil and his company employees are first class to deal with.

tom sr tom jr and john were real pros and absolute joy to work with. quote was spot on with expectation. not a dime was paid until job done. not only did they meet expectations but exceeded them. these guys are the real deal. private road and driveway was repaired. about 8000 sq ft. extremely happy with results. excellent communication. this is what i expect from a professional company

Paved a new concrete driveway with a turn around. They were excellent and the job was beautifully done!! Would highly recommend!!

The owner showed up personally to provide the estimate.  He was very professional and provided an accurate estimate both price and time frame.  He was not the best price, but others who i called either did not show, said the job was too small or never called back.  I would use him again.  Note: this was over 2 years ago.
