"When providing a quote for a moisture issue in the basement of my split-level home, Rob took the time to listen to me explain the issues, answered all of my many questions, and thoroughly explained what he thought needed to be done. We discussed both a costly option (digging up part of the yard and installing drains and waterpoofing on the exterior) as well as a cheaper one (waterproofing paint on the interior). Even though the exterior fix was the best option for ensuring the issue would be remedied, he thought that the interior fix would be sufficient and provided me with information so that I could pick what I thought was best rather than pressuring me into picking the pricier option. He also noticed that my crawl space was lacking a vapor barrier and provided a quote for that as well. I am very pleased with the finished product. Despite some recent heavy rains, I have yet to see any further moisture problems from the basement. And even though I hadn't originally planned to pay for a vapor barrier installation, the price was good enough that I decided to opt for it and I'm glad I did. Even though it would have been cheaper to do the work myself, I am very pleased with the quality I received."

"The actual cleanup in the basement was very good. I had a leak and Tom came, provided an estimate and initiated the work with good communication and professionalism. My issues have been with subsequent communication with Tom. He has not submitted any claim information to my insurance and he has not returned emails or phone calls for the last week. I need Disaster Response to submit the bill so that I can get reimbursed for the deductible that I paid them up front. Things were eventually sorted out but it took too much effort for me to consider hiring them again."

Tom got back to me right away, was able to come right away, and really saved my bacon to get me ready for the water-proofing installation right on time. He put in a big day's work putting everything back better than it was before and came up with inventive ways to reinstall everything so that it wouldn't perforate the sheeting. Without him, I wouldn't have even thought it possible to reinstall everything. Tom was really easy to work with, did what he said he would (and better) and did it on time. He's the best!"
