"Mr. Gamez is clearly knowledgeable and experienced in foundation work. When he provides a time he will meet for an estimate, and a time he and his crew will arrive to start work, you can count on that time. His work is masterful, yet he guarantees it in writing."

"It took two days to tear out the old insulation under the bottom floor and install encapsulation in the whole crawlspace. Nick and his crew did quality work getting the job completed. They also patched holes in the foundation, hauled off all the old, dirty insulation and torn vapor barrier. All-in-all a very accommodating crew."

"I'm satisfied the problem was fixed however, two issues arose. The tech burned our baseboard molding trying to sweat a fitting onto the copper pipe. The service van was not equipped with the correct part - a cold water supply valve for the toilet. Rather a fundamental part - I was surprised."

"These guys were fantastic! Last Friday I received a call from the town about an excessive amount of water use (like five times the normal amount) After some trouble shooting we came to the conclusion we had a leak on the main line outside. I had made a few calls to other plumbers and by Monday (8-14) even managed to get one willing to come Tuesday but was warned that they wouldn't be available to do any actual work for another week or two. Not happy with their schedule or the lack of concern of my leak issue, I made one last call to All About Plumbing. The man I spoke who asked multiple questions about my issue and unlike the other plumber, he seemed to share my concern with my issue. He even apologized that there was one stop ahead of me but insured they would be by as so as possible THAT day. Later on Monday morning two friendly men, Richard and Kasey, showed up, did a quick assessment of the work, gave me a fair estimate and, to my surprise, confirmed that would be available to handle the work on Wednesday-in just two days! The new line would go from the meter, under some drainage pipes and a sidewalk, through two flowerbeds the foundation before connecting in our basement. Richard took the time to explain everything they would need to do. He then assured me they would be do their best to not disturb more that what was necessary for the job and they would return everything the best they could. (Using grass seed in the yard, returning the cut peice of sidewalk, waterproof sealing the hole in the foundation) Then jump to today (8-16) Richard, Kasey and a new guy, Ben, show up first thing and get right to work. They ran into a few issues and Richard had to jump though a few hoops with the permit but they handled everything calmly and professionally. Also anytime the guys had to come inside for the work they were very kind and respectful (Even gave my excited pitty some love) Honestly I have never been so relaxed when working with a group before. Their work was quick and it looks amazing. I will happily use All About Plumbing again and would recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber."

"Donny did a great job fixing my shop. The entire sill plate of the building had been eaten by termites. Donny had to lift the walls in portions and replace the sill and then poured a new concrete foundation over the dirt floor that was in place. The work was done quickly, he always kept the place clean, was respectful and very helpful explaining things and helping us understand what was going on. It was a great experience. I hired Donny again for another foundation repair when a wall on out converted carport was leaking at the base. Donny responded quickly, gave a good quote and got to work. He again left the place very clean and was really easy to work with. If i ever run into an issue I just call Donny."

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

If you hire a professional, installing a new sewage ejector pump costs $850 to $3,500, or an average of $2,300. Otherwise, if you handle the installation yourself, you can expect to pay $500 to $1,000 for the sewage ejector pump, permits, and other supplies required for this DIY project.

Proper drainage prevents water damage, mold growth, and foundation settling, protecting your home’s structural integrity.

Methods include interior sealants, exterior excavation and waterproofing membranes, sump pump installation, and vapor barriers for encapsulation. Techniques vary based on the structure and severity of moisture issues.

Ideally, your sump pump discharge should run down a natural downhill slope 10 to 20 feet away from your home’s foundation. However, if your property is naturally flat, that might not be an option. Instead, you may be able to discharge it into a neighborhood storm drain or a nearby creek or pond. If that’s not possible, consider burying it underground.

Signs include persistent dampness, mold or mildew presence, musty odors, and visible water stains. If any of these occur, it is advisable to contact a professional for an inspection.
