Hoping I never have to have such foundation work ever done again, but will certainly call Mount Valley again, if I do!"

"David is hands down the best contractor I've ever worked with! He has a background in engineering and it shows. My home's driveway was severely damaged by Helene (we live up in the mountains near Swannanoa, NC) and we had a mass of earth precariously perched above our home. I was very nervous it could continue sliding into our home. In addition to this, where our road had collapsed, it had become dangerous to pass with a car. David and his team were able to assess the damage and develop a thorough, well-explained plan for repairing this road damage. We were able to build a retaining wall and reinforce the bank adjacent to our road. He even re-graveled our driveway at no additional cost because his trucks were unable to access our property due to sandy roads. The work was professional and of very high quality. While he was working on the road repairs I also had him check our foundation to see if things had shifted during the hurricane. David was able to identify some bowing/cracking and suggested a repair with steel bracing. We agreed to those repairs and while working on this he noticed our decking bolts had come undone. David then went around both our main home and an ADU to check the bolts/nuts were tightened down on all exterior structures. This was going beyond and above by a wide margin and showed how much David cares about doing the right thing and helping people above all else. I cannot recommend David enough both professionally and personally. He's a wonderful human who does excellent work and I will absolutely work with him again in the future! -Andrew"

They took the extra time and effort to make sure I was fully satisfied with the job and even added some additional features at no extra cost. Extremely good value for the price I paid, I highly recommend them."

"Brent of K&B Property Maintenance was very professional. He didn't complain or charge me extra because he had to drive a bit to get to my home. He quickly provided an estimate, answered all my questions, altered the job per my request without attitude, and promptly had his team at my house at the agreed start date and time. He arrived with his team, they expertly completed the remodeling while respecting me and my home. Brent's team worked together like a well-oiled machine. They politely answered my questions as they worked and did not mind me watching them. They cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. I will definitely hire them again. They are a great group of very professional and skilled men."

John and team, rebuilt a composite material deck, while both strengthening the support structures and creating beautiful framing with cocktail rails and a wire cable system. In addition, John re-landscaped our hill steps, replaced floor moldings, cemented a patio, and corrected drainage issues!"

"Wrong color of paint used (will live with that). Asked for lighter greige and got dark beige with paint splatters left on baseboards. They offered to do flooring during painting conversation. Quickly found out that they didn't measure properly resulting in another trip to purchase more flooring mid task to then later discover it was not needed (& now cannot return all due to several open boxes), left all trash including carpet, padding, tack strips in garage (not previously disclosed). Did not communicate or install any molding or 1/4 " round so now have jagged cut edges on all perimeters, no floor panel on vertical plane for step, no transitions, broke bifold door mount. Stated that they would return to fix & complete with molding and never showed. Now refusing to commit to fixing or completing the flooring. This has been an example of extremely poor communications and shotty work. It was obvious that they didn't listen to me for color or scope of the task. I expected a complete flooring job and got partial with excuses and no resolution. Buyer beware of this one!"
