"High Definition Pros did a beautiful job removing old wallpaper, repairing molding, and painting the walls, ceiling, and molding. They were fast and communicative, and everyone I met with the company was courteous and personable. The job they did was just spectacular."

"This project replaced a rotten wooden garden retaining wall with a new one. I was impressed with Jeff's communiations. He provided an estimate in one day and started the project the next week. His crew showed up on time. The crew was hard-working and finished the job in one day carrying heavy materials to the backyard by hand. The quality of the work was excellent."

"Amy is super professional. Everything was explained in detail prior to the work (testing wallpaper for ability to strip, etc). Any unexpected findings were reported immediately and she waited until I approved before proceeding. Everything was neat and tidy at completion."

"Mike and Crystal were very professional from the first phone contact through the completion of the work. They showed up on time, their work was neat and they worked very efficiently. My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. I have already recommended Mike's Painting to others in my neighborhood and would use him again for future painting needs.

"Hard working crew. What would have taken an average crew of 4, 2 weeks to finish, these guys did in 5 days. Owner came within an hour to give estimate. I added a couple of small jobs after the estimate and they charged no extra. These guys know exterior and interior restoration. Our log home hadn’t been treated in over 10 years but no looks better than ever. Project Foreman presented me with any issues as he found them and gave me options. My neighbors have now hired them. "Keith did a great job.  I got 3 bids and his was the most competitive.  It took him and his crew 4 days to complete my 3600 sq. ft. home.  Most of this time he was on his own in my new house since I was moving.  I told him he needed to be complete by the time the furniture arrived.  When the moving truck pulled up, his team was pulling out!  My house looked beautiful and everything was cleaned up and tidy.  He was very honest and trustworthy.  I will hire him again."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Because replacing pool tiles requires fully draining your pool, it’s a great opportunity to complete other projects. You may want to replace your pool’s vinyl liner or repair cracks. You might also replace your swimming pool heater or even take on the cost of resurfacing your pool. Resurfacing, although relatively costly, can help prolong the lifespan of your pool.

It is less costly to paint than wallpaper when you only consider the upfront cost. Wallpaper costs $320 to $820 when applied by a pro, while paint only costs $200 to $700 per room. However, when comparing wallpaper versus paint, consider the long-term as well. Wallpaper can save you money over time since it has a much longer life span than paint.

Many types of wallpaper exist, from removable peel-and-stick options to more permanent options that involve pasting. You can also find wallpaper that you can paint over, wallpaper with a texture, and wallpaper made from various materials, such as vinyl. Some types of wallpaper are washable, which can be a great option for kitchens or if your household has small children.

Yes, many installation and painting services include wall preparation, such as patching holes, smoothing surfaces, sanding, and priming. It is recommended to confirm the specific preparations included with your provider.

Yes, you can apply peel-and-stick wallpaper over wood paneling, but it requires significant preparation for a good result. Peel-and-stick wallpaper has a weaker adhesive than traditional wallpaper and works best on smooth, non-textured surfaces like painted or primed drywall. Because wood paneling is often textured with grooves, any flaws in the underlying surface will likely be visible after application. To prepare the paneling, you must ensure the surface is free of cracks, holes, and protrusions by filling any indentations and sanding rough spots to create a smooth surface. An alternative is to remove the paneling and apply the wallpaper directly to the underlying drywall or plaster, provided it is in good condition.
