I provided nine double rolls of wallpaper that had a repeat. Susan took three days, arriving promptly by 9:30 each morning. The floor/carpet was covered as were the bathroom counter/sink areas. She provided all materials, covered all switch plates, cleaned all areas of paste, and excess paper scraps The entire bath area looks beautiful thanks to her profession paper hanging! I highly recommend Susan as a professional, and a knowledgeable paper hanger of integrity.

Susan came out to wallpaper the Master Bedroom. It looks gorgeous! Not only did she do a superb job, she is pleasant to have around. Susan is very conscientious, really pays attention to detail. I am having her back to do another bedroom. Thank You!

It took extra time to paste the wallpaper by hand. She worked every minute she was in my house--no breaks. She was willing to make that wallpaper work and it turned out great. The verdict is in. Susan did a great job and I would recommend her to my friends, neighbors, family and unknown customers.

I found Susan (just Googled wallpaper in Asheville) before I became a member on Angie's List. We were moving from Charlotte to Asheville and wanted to use up some paper we had from a previous house. We had 8 walls total and wanted it complete before we moved in. Susan was very responsive throughout the whole process. Since we were in another city I had to put my trust in her and hope it would come out looking good. I have seen some horrible wallpaper installations so I was a bit worried. The installation was very clean and neat. Each wall has perfectly straight lines and the cut around the fireplace looks really good. She also did the outlet covers. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would recommend her services to others.

The person I had scheduled to wallpaper for me did not work out, so I checked Angie's list and found Susan Tuomey out of the Asheville area. She came down the mountain (90 miles roundtrip) to do the estimate. She was very professional, measured and delivered the estimate in a few days. Despite the drive, she was willing and able to start in two weeks time. From start to finish, Susan worked steady and consistently. Set up was quick and she was papering right away on day one. Her focus was excellent, no constant distractions from the cell phone. She hand glued every piece and did not use a paster. She was pleasant and easy to be around. The whole job took a week and a half with one snow day which she called about. There was no comparison between Susan's professionalism and the lack of professionalism from the wallpaperer who did not work out!

We reviewed the firms in Angie's List for the Cashiers area. We called several, and it was an easy choice to pick Susan. Susan Tuomey made one 120-mile roundtrip from Asheville to our new home in Cashiers to measure. We ordered the wallpaper from our hometown store, Southern Paint and Wallpaper in Daytona Beach, Florida, and shipped it to Susan. She made four 120-mile roundtrips to hang the wallpaper, and we are very happy with all of her work. She even papered the light switches and outlet covers, something we had not expected, but an extra touch we love. Susan is punctual and always delivered as promised. The total bill for her services was very reasonable, particularly in light of the distances she travelled to complete our project. We would highly recommend Susan Tuomey, and we hope she has taken some photos of our house to show the high quality of her work.

Susan was easy to communicate with. She came over and gave a free estimate, responded to questions and phone calls professionally. She was pleasant to have in our home as she worked and the work was done with expertise and excellence.

Susan arrived on time, brought all of her own tools and worked hard at the task of removing the old wallpaper. She hung the new wallpaper and border expertly and competently.The job was completely beautiful and enhanced the atmosphere in our home. We have enjoyed Susan's work .We would definitely recommend Susan to other people for wallpapering projects in their homes.

5/18/2012 update: Susan hung another grasscloth for me. Again, great job. Four out of four jobs for me, she has perfectly estimated the paper I would need, accounting for pattern repeat, roll size etc. I have never run short, or had more than 1/2 roll left! And I use expensive papers, so it's a big deal!

Susan is the ultimate professional hanger. Her installations are all, literally, seamless. She varied her paste depending on the paper type, gave me several layout options to choose from, covered her entire work area and left my home cleaner than when she arrived! She is truly meticulous. I would trust here with any type of wallcovering.
