Bill Barber started his construction business in 1977 in Atlanta Ga. For 24 years Bill built homes from 1800 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft. During that time Bill also built approximately 30 to 40 additions and other types of home renovations per year. Bill B. Business Owner A native of Miami Fl. Bill Barber moved to Atlanta with his new bride Melinda and began to build Homes and additions in 1977. For 24 years Bill established a reputation in Atlanta for high quality custom homes with creative designs. In 2002 Mark Meadow (Now US Congressman) was a local realtor in Highlands's area and Invited Bill to build in one of his projects in Cashiers NC. Because of the craftsmanship and creativity his first home built here in the Smoky Mountains, seven more contracts to build came in that year. Bill has been building now for over 37+ years and enjoys the beautiful Smokey Mountains of North Carolina.
"I have done 2 remodeling projects with Bill Barbor Homes. At no point during bathroom/tub x2 remodels, as well as multiple exterior deck and siding repars did I feel any worry. I also experienced very reasonable pricing. I would definitely use them again. I would also choose a custom home built by them after experiencing the knowledge base they have in construction. " A two-man team, Carlos (owner) and Alberto, both totally experienced, completed our two jobs in one day. The first job was to replace rotting siding on two dormer; the second was to replace missing stone shingles on our chimney and seal shingles all around the chimney that showed gaps. We're very happy with their work. Carlos likes to get to his jobs with no delay. They came the day after we agreed to his estimate, which was very reasonable. Carlos is friendly and easygoing, and explains all aspects of the job. "
