American Craftsmen of NCDuring the ice storm this winter and on at least two other occasions, we noticed a leak around one of our windows in our sunroom. We called American Craftsmen, along with a few others (including a company we had used in the past). They were the only ones who had their estimator come out to the house and get up on the roof to check things out and identify the problem. One company used satellite imagery to look at our roof and another was only recommending a service over the phone. Needless to say, we felt most comfortable with them. From the time we sent in the contract, it was less than 48 hours for them to come out and do the work. Within a week after the repair work, we had another hard, heavy rain with wind, that was similar to those that we had when we saw the leak. No leak! American Craftsman was prompt, reasonably priced, and they got the job done right!- Paul B.

Robco Fence and Deck LLCthe construction of the pergola was excellent. the builders took exactly what we wanted and built a solid structure that went beyond our expectations. we are very pleased with the work that was completed. On the inside of the home, we had a stone veneer installed over our existing fireplace, the work was exceptional and turned out better than we expected. We would recommend this company to anyone wanting to do this type of work. There were some scheduling issues at times but the company completed the job in a timely manner and were always responsive to our requests.- Jeff L.

Robco Fence and Deck LLCThis was the best experience with a contractor I have ever had. I had narrowed my choices down to 3 companies. When I found out Robco won 1st place in a National Award for Best Deck in 2015 and I also realized the owner, Jay Robinson, was a licensed General contractor in both commercial and residential, this was an easy decision. I wanted a high quality project and I felt like after the design/renderings and plans that were presented by Andrew, that Robco could deliver the project I was looking for. It turns out I made a great decision. The project was flawless. Professional installers that were in time! Only had a couple delays through the entire project. Communication was fantastic. It didn't. Larry came out to discuss the job and take measurements. Took a week for him to respond to my messages (I had to call him a i didn't hear a word from him). He says he will get me the estimate the next day... the next day, he randomly decides to "withdraw from my project because I was getting other estimates." He tried to put it on me because the insurance asked me to get multiple estimates & he disappeared for a week, but then also admitted to "being behind on paperwork." Either way, good to have this communication and being of paperwork issue identified now vs halfway through the job.

Work went very smoothly, price was reasonable, and work quality was excellent. Had used them previously for a kitchen remodel, including partial wall removal, tile backsplash and lighting. Also included removing some popcorn ceilings, new hardwood flooring and converting a makeshift office back to a bedroom. Will definitely use them again for future projects, and would definitely recommend them to others. In fact, have already to two other people.

I wish I could say give a review of their work, however, they were a no-show. I had an appointment for an initial consultation and waited for almost an hour for them to show up at my new home. No one showed up. When I called the company, I was told that the owner forgot about the appointment..? Is that even a good reason? How do you forget about an appointment with a potential client. Very unprofessional customer service and slow response.
