When he added the recessed lighting I didn't like the cylinders that he used in the ceiling that hold the lights, he said there was snother style and swapped them out, no argument, no attitude, he wanted to make us happy. Several days after he completed the work, we had a problem with the outdoor light, he replaced it, no argument, no attitude, he scheduled a time to replace it and showed up on time."

"I'm a repeat customer of Evans Electric. Matt and team did all the electrical work 4 years ago when we finished our basement. Fast forward to Nov. 2023, Matt and team did some electrical work for our kitchen reno, plus recessed lights/switches for bathrooms and office. Matt initially came for consultation and estimate (came by on time), provided various options as though it was his house. I always appreciate different perspectives and the conversation that is "if I were you, I would..." or "have you thought about..." This week, Matt and Tim came for the work, and can't say enough about how great the work is, their professionalism, and attention to detail. Looks great! "Brian came when promised to give an estimate and also when doing the work. He is an excellent electrician - professional, clean, efficient and worked straight through the day until the job was finished. He charged a very fair price and installed six recessed lights, three under counter lights, a fan/light kit, dimmer and plug in the kitchen, and hooked up 8 flat florescent light boxes in the basement (which we had installed prior to his visit). He finished on time and is very pleasant person with which to work. He will be returning soon to do another job which will be to wire and install lights, fan and plugs under a deck. We highly recommend him."

"Out of three estimates, Albert provided the lowest bid.  They say you shouldn't judge on price alone.  But, the reviews on Angie's List were so good, I decided to go with Albert and I'm glad I did.  Albert's crew showed up on the first day promptly at 9am as he said they would.  They pressure washed the house, front stoop & steps and removed some rotted wood on the first day.  The 2nd day, they removed more wood, scraped paint, sanded and started replacing some of the wood.  It took them a total of five full days to finish the job start to finish.  They painted the house, trim, shutters and the door.  They painted the mailbox post and replaced the mailbox with one I purchased.  They painted the back porch post and rails, stained the porch floor and steps and then re-screened the porch. 
They did a fantastic job.  I couldn't be more pleased.  The house looks wonderful.  They cleaned all of the windows once they were done.  I had a film on my front storm door which I removed.  It left an adhesive.  I went to Home Depot to purchase the necessary supplies to clean off the adhesive.  However, after they painted my door I came downstairs (I work at home) and my storm door was spic and span clean.  They had removed all of the adhesive for me.  The crew was very polite and professional.  After the first day, they arrived at 8am each day and left at 5pm.  They put everything away at the end of each day.  When they were done with the job, they cleaned up very nicely.
The one complaint that I had which is minor is that someone smoked (either Albert's crew or family member) and would drop the cigarette butts in my yard.  There weren't many of them.  But, I found that distasteful.   Except for that, I am very pleased with Albert's Painting and would use them again.
Original review was written in March.  This is an update in May:  I called Albert to install some rails near my front stoop steps.  I had to call a few times.  Albert finally came out to take measurements and was going to call me back with a price.  I have yet to hear back from him despite my calling him again.

"I believe that integrity is paramount when hiring someone to have professional work done in my home. I would recommend Gerald to anyone I know because his work ethic is impeccable. From start to finish he is professional, kind, and concerned about providing excellent customer service. He came to my mom’s house to perform an electrical service and instead of doing the bare minimum, he spent over two ours doing everything he could to resolve the problem. When it was determined that installing the fixture would be hazardous, he was apologetic and did not charge a fee for all the time he spent troubleshooting the problem. Please do yourself a favor and hire Johnson and Associates for your electrical needs. You will not be disappointed. If I could give them ten stars I would."

"Clive and Tracie were wonderful to work with! Nicest people you'll meet. Their team is very talented, polite and hard-working. We knew we wanted a patio and firepit but didn't have specific details in mind. In our initial meeting with Clive, he took the time to "interview" us to understand our tastes and needs. He put together a couple of designs that addressed all of our needs. Clive was very patient with us as we settled on the design that was right for us. Not only is the patio and fireplace beautiful, he included landscaping that provides shade and privacy, a dedicated space for our trampoline that balances our yard and lighting that looks fantastic at night. Clive goes the extra mile to please his customers. As the project was wrapping up, he called me from the nursery to ask what my wife's favorite color/ flower was so he could include them in the landscaping. Nice touch! I was pleasantly surprised when the job was complete, his team came out and pressure washed the back of the house near the area they worked. They also re-seeded the lawn on the path the heavy machinery traveled to the backyard. After the job was complete, I called Clive about one minor issue and he had his team came out the same day to make the correction. I would most definitely recommend Outdoor Artisan. It was a great experience. You may find cheaper, but not for this quality and level of service."
