I had other estimates and MI Electric was the best price, value and service. Would hire these folks again for any sized project!!
"Sometimes when someone comes out to bid a job, they may "think" that something can be done a certain way, but when a technician shows up to do the work, he/she may find that the plans need to be altered. There are some situations where you cannot be 100% sure of everything until you get started working on it. My technician would not have done this job the way you described without checking with the customer first for approval. For you to say that "we took advantage of you not being there", is a bit harsh and simply not true. We do have code guidelines in which to abide by as well, and sometimes something may look "nicer" to do one way, but it may not be safe or to code to do it that way. Also, we are a company that strongly believes in making sure the customer gets exactly what they expect. If you took issue with the way the work was done, a simple phone call to our office might have been a better way to resolve the matter rather than posting a negative review 3 months after the fact. There could be alternative options that you may have been happier with. We certainly do not want one of our customers to feel as if we are unwilling to come back over to your house and work things out. We always put our existing customers first and If you had called us to come out and review the work with you, we would have done just that. If you are interested in still doing so, please do not hesitate to call or email to coordinate it."
