"I'm a repeat customer of Evans Electric. Matt and team did all the electrical work 4 years ago when we finished our basement. Fast forward to Nov. 2023, Matt and team did some electrical work for our kitchen reno, plus recessed lights/switches for bathrooms and office. Matt initially came for consultation and estimate (came by on time), provided various options as though it was his house. I always appreciate different perspectives and the conversation that is "if I were you, I would..." or "have you thought about..." "Albert came to take a look and provide an estimate (I had talked about doing some external painting as well, which I've decided to postpone).  I then took some time picking a color.  Albert came back out to provide some guidance and opinion on that as well ... he was extremely patient with me!  :)  When they came back to paint, they did the kitchen, kitchen doors and trim around the kitchen and the den (which needed some touch up).  They also took on the additional task of removing a child gate prior to touching up the trim on that door, since I wasn't able to remove the gate myself without tearing up the doorframe.  They did a great job and everything looked really good!
I also just realized that this is the first review I've written for this company, but they also did some work for me back in 2006.  They removed wallpaper and painted in 2 bathrooms and then just pained another bedroom.  I was trying to match the trim to the shutters, but had picked a color that was a bit too light and the contrast looked bad to me.  They had already done a bit of work on the trim (although it wasn't complete yet) and I talked to one of the guys, who VERY nicely and professionally offered to match it for me.  So he went to the paint store and came back with a match.  I expected them to be a bit annoyed, since they were just about done with the trim, but he was so helpful and nice about it. 
In one of the bathrooms, I saw that they had done touch ups to repair the walls prior to painting that I hadn't even asked them to do.  It's not very often these days, that people either pay that much attention to detail or take the time to go above and beyond to actually do things "right".
I was so impressed with them in 2006, that I hunted them down again this year and I will do the same again next time I need work done.  They did a great job!

"Clive and Tracie were wonderful to work with! Nicest people you'll meet. Their team is very talented, polite and hard-working. We knew we wanted a patio and firepit but didn't have specific details in mind. In our initial meeting with Clive, he took the time to "interview" us to understand our tastes and needs. He put together a couple of designs that addressed all of our needs. Clive was very patient with us as we settled on the design that was right for us. Not only is the patio and fireplace beautiful, he included landscaping that provides shade and privacy, a dedicated space for our trampoline that balances our yard and lighting that looks fantastic at night. Clive goes the extra mile to please his customers. As the project was wrapping up, he called me from the nursery to ask what my wife's favorite color/ flower was so he could include them in the landscaping. Nice touch! I was pleasantly surprised when the job was complete, his team came out and pressure washed the back of the house near the area they worked. They also re-seeded the lawn on the path the heavy machinery traveled to the backyard. After the job was complete, I called Clive about one minor issue and he had his team came out the same day to make the correction. I would most definitely recommend Outdoor Artisan. It was a great experience. You may find cheaper, but not for this quality and level of service."

"I am comfortable with minor wiring projects (hanging a ceiling fan, installing a new light fixture in an existing spot), but new wiring is not something I'm willing to do.  When I removed my old OTR, I realized that the job was beyond me.  I'd used MI in the past, called them up, and got a team out to the house within a few days.  They were in and out quickly, and did the work well.  I will absolutely use them again.  Thanks!
