"I had a fantastic experience with Ehrlich Southeast. Their customer service was excellent, from scheduling the appointment to the completion of the service. Their technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, and they ensured my property was pest-free. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of pest control services."
"TruGreen provided transparent pricing and quality workmanship when treating my property for bed bugs. Their technicians were professional and thorough, ensuring every area was treated to eliminate the infestation. I appreciated their attention to detail and how they followed up to ensure the problem was resolved. I'll definitely be using their services again if needed."
"First, let me say that the exterminator that came to my home each time was the NICEST guy. This review is not about him, but about the company and my experience. We purchased a yearly contract for quarterly exterminations. I had to call them in January to find out when they were coming for my 3rd treatment, as they were late in coming. I called them again in March as a service call. We were experiencing way too many spiders still. Secure pest came out and treated for the spiders. Fast forward to June 2016-I received a call about renewing my contract. I mentioned that I never had my fourth treatment. I was told that the March visit WAS my last treatment. I tried explaining that the March visit was a service call (which I've had before). March had not even been 3 months since their last visit, and I am the one that called them and asked them to come out. I did leave a voicemail asking them to double check their records, but I never heard back from anyone at Secure Pest. I am disappointed in this company and will find someone else that cares to stick to the contract. Spiders are way worse than before I started using this company anyhow.
"The only reason I did not hire this company is I am in negotiations to sell my house and buyer decided to complete pest control in lieu of closing cost assistance. Otherwise, I would have definitely used this company because of their professionism, efficiency, knowledge sharing, pricing and friendliness."
"Excellent experience ! Fast response. Knowledgable technicians and thorough attention to detail. Had pest control and application of termite prevention system. Drilled, treated, and filled garage and basement slabs. Very polite. Cleaned up everything thoroughly. Would definitely recommend ."
"I have been a customer of Bugg Busters Inc. for 15 years. I met the owner Gary Ward at one of my rental homes on the first visit. He was honest and told me that nothing was needed at the home in the area of Termite work. I started using Bugg Busters after that at all my rentals and at my home. Bugg Busters completed waterproofing at my office in Lincolnton last year. I had water pouring in from the road out front of my office. The Bugg Busters team installed a drain system and treated my building for termites. They also put down plastic to control the moisture. My favorite service they offer is the EZ Breathe which is a house ventilation system. No more bad odors from my dogs or from that crawl space. I have the Ez Breathe at my home, office and my mothers house. I will continue to use this company for years to come."
"Let me start by saying, Ant issues is the reason I contracted this company. I got the first service for 45.00 which I have read in other posts for varying amounts. The tech that came out (at 6:00 pm on Saturday and took about 30 minutes total) This was the time set by the phone call from a supervisor within seconds of paying the sales rep. The treatment was following a 4pm birthday party during the time I was trying to clean up after 30+ kids, which I tried to tell them was NOT a good idea. 3 days later I still had ants. The tech was not thorough with the application in my opinion. he granulated the yard and mulch beds with less that a coffee can sized spreader ( I have almost 100 feet of bedding 6' wide) I did pest control in the early 90's. when I questioned him and explained I was a certified pest control tech in days past I was told everything is completely different now and I basically dint know jack. No surprise that I had to get them back out a week later because my ant problem was unchanged. I was told to keep my house clean and caulk 2 small cracks under my patio door trim. I have OCD about germs you can eat off the floors in my house, secondly an ant can fit its body through any hole he can fit his head through. It is an impossibility to "calk" your house to an ant proof state. Not Happy, would not recommend, would not use again"
Yes, honey bees can sting, but they typically only do it when they feel their hive is threatened. When honey bees are away from their hive, they’re focused on foraging for pollen and nectar, making them unlikely to sting. Only female honey bees, called workers, have stingers, and they will die if they need to use them. Generally, if left undisturbed, honey bees will leave you alone.
No; ticks rarely infest buildings. They prefer to stay outdoors waiting for a potential host to pass by. However, while ticks do not infest beds, they can get indoors by attaching themselves to pets, clothing, or outdoor gear. A live tick may survive in your bed for around 24 hours, but it certainly won’t breed or start an infestation.
The cost of pest control services depends on various factors, but the average homeowner pays around $175, with a typical range of $100 to $500. Your final cost will be influenced by the type of pest, the size and severity of the infestation, and the number of treatments needed.
Service costs also vary by frequency:
One-time service: $300–$550
Initial visit for ongoing service: $150–$300
Monthly visits: $40–$70
Quarterly visits: $100–$300
Annual visits: $300–$550
For specific pest examples, getting rid of spiders typically costs between $100 and $300, whereas a termite infestation can cost from $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the extent of the damage.
Pest control and wildlife removal are different services. Pest control specialists typically handle insects and bugs, often using chemicals and poisonous sprays for extermination. Wildlife removal professionals, on the other hand, focus on larger animals. They prioritize humane methods like trapping and relocation, using poison only as a last resort. For insect problems, contact a pest control professional; for issues with other animals, an animal or wildlife removal specialist is the correct choice.
A solution of one part bleach to 10 parts water or a disinfecting product that contains phenol (such as Lysol) is known to kill hantavirus and other pathogens found in mouse urine and feces. Simply spray this solution over and around the locations you expect mice to be living and running through, and the homemade disinfectant will do its job to rid your home of any feces and urine particles you could be exposed to.
