"Stuart was very responsive and scheduled our appointment quickly.  He replaced our roof with architectural shingles and the job went very well.  Due to a rain delay the job ran into a second day and Stuart was very understanding when we asked his crew to wrap up because it was starting to get late.  The crew came back the next day and was finished in less than an hour.  They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves and the roof looks great.  Stuart also fixed some wood rot around our windows and the front door.  We will definitely use him the next time we need to replace a roof.

"I set up an appointment from my original call on December 11th for an on site visit/discussion on January 21st.  Unfortunately, Marc had a family commitment on that date and we rescheduled for February 18th. 
Marc was very professional and punctual.  We discussed what I wanted a kitchen design to include - bumping out an existing wall and taking advantage of the space behind it.  Specifically discussed opening an entrance from the deck through a laundry room with access to the new kitchen/dining area.  Placement of all the appliances and countertops/cabinets.
We discussed the amount of work that he had already in progress and I informed him that I would like to have the plans back in 3 weeks.  What I would consider a favorable amount of time.
On March 23rd (a Saturday) I sent an email requesting my design plans as I has been almost a month since Marc was on site.  I was informed that the software design person was working on the plans and she turned in a preliminary drawing to Marc a week ago and he sent it back for some changes.  My contact person was supposed to contact me at that time and inform me of the status of your drawings and apologized for the lapse. She spoke with Marc concerning my plans and was informed that they should be ready by the end of this week - March 29th.
I was going out of town on March 29th, so scheduled for him to meet me at my office at April 3rd.  When Marc came out, he apologized for getting the plans in so late.  When he pulled the plans out, it was a basic, here's your new cabinet suggestion.  None of the items we discussed we on the plans.
He apologize profusely and said he would get the items/plan we discussed back to me within a day or two.  I informed him I was going to be out of town, so to please have them back when we were back on April 12th. 
I received an email on April 11th to set up an appointment to discuss the newly designed plans. An email was sent on April 12th with the plans as they thought I was traveling starting April 12th.
There were a few ideas I liked - the fridge next to the fireplace (maybe not the most ideal placement given it's a fireplace, but it's a gas fireplace), the raised dishwasher, double ovens and the two windows looking out the back yard/deck and the lighting features.
I did not like that there was no room to enter from the main living area (need minimum space to enter a room), a TV on the fireplace that faces into the kitchen nor the small cabinet underneath.  The "top view" looks out of dimension.
On April 16th I received a request for feedback.  On April 27th (Saturday), I responded with my concerns of a disconnect between Marc and her design and suggested that she review the video he took.
I'm a little disappointed with the design as I believe there is a disconnect between Marc and yourself on what my expectations are/were.
I do not have a need to have a TV in our kitchen and the addition of the double ovens by the refrigerator does not leave enough entry space into the kitchen from the hall and the livingroom. This need to be wide enough for wheelchair access.
Marc and I also discussed an island in the kitchen which is not in the plans you sent.  The area where the cook top stove should be deeper, by about another 2-4 feet which expands the room where I want the dining table/chairs with the buffet set.
I do like the area at the two windows where the sink is, but a little confused about the small cabinets on either side of the sink.  Does not seem practical use of space.  I also like the drop down "spot" lighting.

In the mean time, should you have clippings / down loaded information / thoughts.. . . .to send to my email - that would be most appreciated.
I would like for this to be a wonderful and functional finished project for you. Direct collaboration with the client has always been helpful for me.
I just don't have the time to keep going back and forth over the plans.  It sounded very simple when Marc and I discussed.  At this point, I'll take the good ideas and incorporate into my own plans.
They have always been very courteous, responded to my emails the next work day, though lacking in the punctuality of sending/meeting me with the plans.
One suggestion I would make would to have Charlene accompany Marc to the site so that all are on board with the vision of the client.
Marc, though it was a pleasure meeting you and I was really all  inspired by what I envisioned through your eyes, I would have to give you a "C".
